Hi, it me.
I saw that thread. They’re not. The entire comment chain was literally “owning the libs” by claiming hypocrisy. Anyone that pointed out that Jan 6 happened, or heaven forbid was worse, was downvoted and silenced.
No preheated food, either.
This can be explained by the fact that DJT is an idiot.
We dropped them for good old blocklists, and so far we’ve actually seen less spam for our clients.
:(
So, when Social Security gets gutted, we’re all getting the money we put in back, right? …right?!
Stuff like that is always a distraction. They know their base are a bunch of conspiracy theorists and morons who will willingly throw away their rights for the promise of stuff like that.
Wow! Really beautiful work!
Trump’s Oval Office thrashing of Zelenskyy shows limits of Western allies’ ability to sway US leader
No, they knew that, and they like(d) it.
Also, remember that Russia is watching this, too. Putin is an asshole, but he’s not so stupid as to not notice how quickly Trump has torn down trust with not just Ukraine, but all of our allies. Absolutely nothing to stop Trump from doing the same thing to Russia, and Russia doesn’t have the economy or the military to stand up to the US.
It’s all really fucked up.
Trump’s Oval Office thrashing of Zelenskyy shows limits of Western allies’ ability to sway US leader
My original theory was that they wanted this on camera so they could point the finger and say, “see, he’s not serious about wanting peace, he won’t listen to us.” But, the more I watch and read, the more I’m convinced this is solely meant to tear down trust between the US and its allies. Trump has always wanted to be an isolationist president, and a wartime president, and he’s trying really hard to make that happen abroad… And at home.
Donald Trump wants civil war—he wants the opportunity to tell US troops to kill US citizens—and Hegseth and Patel are right there with him.
Nice finds, and thanks for sharing!
I don’t think the irony of prohibiting certain opinions in opinion pieces in the name of “free speech” is lost on Bezos. He just doesn’t give a shit.
With the current Ames SCOTUS case, I think we’re heading for a “fairness over equity” court system. Life is about to get a lot scarier for minority and (previously) protected classes.
I don’t expect this to happen in my state, but if it does, what’s the best recourse? Stock up on fluoridated toothpaste and brush extra? Get fluoride treatment at dental checkups? Something else? I don’t have kids, but if I ever do, I want their teeth to be healthy.
I never really understood…
Have you tried learning about it?
That’s awesome! I am not going to get through mine that quickly, but am aiming to be credit card debt free by 2026. Just hoping the economy doesn’t tank to the point that becomes impossible for me to do.
It’s a feature, not a bug.
Trump’s second term: literally too confusing, too extreme
I just want Gnome without all the faff of Arch. Do I want too much? Dx
It’s ok, we have a great lawyer.

Should I be switching to Wayland for gaming?
I’m not super familiar with the differences between x11 and Wayland, but I’ve been experiencing some screen tearing in games with x11 that I don’t remember experiencing in the past. I’ve heard Wayland is more performant, but does that mean anything when gaming?
I am using an AMD gpu with just out-of-the-box settings. No additional drivers or tinkering.

Struggling with all-or-nothing mindset
I have been trying to take my digital privacy more seriously as of late, but I find myself falling into a cycle of all-or-nothing. I will do a little bit to improve my privacy and then will suddenly feel like I need to go full-on down the rabbit hole. This leads to burnout, and then I'll convince myself that it's all futile and I should just use what's most convenient.
How do you all find a balance that works for you? Or do you just change things constantly?
