Such a beautiful color!
My guess is that this is a H. moscheutus. All parts of these plants above ground die in winter and grow back in spring/summer. Then your patience will be rewarded with huge flowers! 😁
I bet you had to spend at least 2$ for ice cream
Oh my God! They really are superior to us!

You didn't self censor your obvious humor??? You're on social media! 🤨
Nope, that's the problem with SDDM - it is "meant to be desktop-agnostic".
Na ja, ich upvote dich mal, aber eben nur sehr ungern
Ty 😁
Succulents are so diverse!
What's the fluffy one in the back?
Does Gentoo have something special that other distros do not?
Isn't there a Gentoo installer like with Arch?
Nope. That's the "something special". You do it manually with the help of a very well written handbook and learn a great deal about how an os works. IMO a great experience.

The plant is frost-hardy, but all parts of the plant above ground die in winter.
Proclaim the Gospel of W. C. Jesus!
I love this wild mess with these gorgeous flowers and buds in between
Glad you like it and TIL all the English names for the parts of a flower 😁

I have no clue, but I imagine this hard grown clump with multiple stems is several decades old.

Copiapoa haseltoniana, Botanical Garden Berlin

those old plants... 🥹
Thank you for clearing this up. I thought the ritteri is the one with lots of wrinkles. I loved the valdezii for its beauty and the ritteri for its ugliness lol. But perhaps this characteristic is very variable within the species.
