Noisy indeed. Losing a pet is always hard. And I am sorry for your lost. We lost three dogs within a year and a half. Now we have 2 again

Say hi to Oiva

Oiva is now six months old. And he is gonna be a big boy

I don't get the above either but four years old can't decide to post a pic or not. That's why his face is blurred. But as I said, I also don't understand situation like you described

I won't post Identifiable pics of my kid's if they are under 18 or if I have their permission

I will try

I do know how to, but my health is so bad I can't do these type of activities with him. That is what makes me sad

Ice fishing

My son (4yo) went ice fishing with his kindergarten group. Nobody didn't catch anything but I was told everyone had fun. I feel like s*it because I can't do these things with him. But when he's happy so am I

I'm gonna be a big boy

Oiva is going to be a big good boy

At least to Rovaniemi tourists comes mostly in winter Snow, reindeers, snow safaris and so on... And of course Santa Claus

It's easy up here. Thanks

Winter days are short but in the summer dun never sets down

🤘

That's the point. Remember all the good stuff. We lost 3 dogs within year and a half and memories are nothing but good

😁

Exactly 👍

I'm beginning to see the same. Still the cutest boy

We were aware about this.Still he's taken us surprised

Thanks

Baby must sleep ....

... so baby can cause mayhem all over and again

Toveri is s former officer of Finn7 Army and he knows that we have 1300 km long border with Russia. Even though Russian army is mostly in Ukraine Finland can't be ignorant about Russian threat. Fortunately Finnish army has good intelligent department and they know where Russian troops are

We have a fence. Almost all of our backyard is for dogs too

Flying puppy

Pic was taken on Monday by my daughter. Our 4 month old beagle looks so happy

Spring of 2024

Last spring, at State-maintained site where anyone can make a fire and for example go for a hike. I am not fit anymore for hiking but the view was beautiful

Little pond

Small pond somewhere between Ivalo and Inari, Finnish Lapland. My daughters and I go every summer "higher" than Rovaniemi where we live, at the Arctic Circle. This was first COVID-19 summer in 2020. #nature #finland #lapland

Atte at the top of Levi Tunturi

Our Chihuahua "Atte" who passed away at age of 16 last November is still at his peak in this picture taken by my daughter https://www.instagram.com/alisas__photos in 2022, at the top of Levi Tunturi, Kittilä (Finland)

Morning nap

A child needs to rest in order to run riot again

Three weeks together

And already best pals. I was blown away how quickly the older lady took new puppy under her wings. We just can't be with a one dog...

😁

Nature is outside our windows

So this is why I like to live in a smallish town. And almost outskirts of our neighborhood. I have seen in our yard, of course squirrels and rabbits but also reindeers, different kinds of small rodents from small to a quite big. (I don't know how to spell the species in English) And of course a lot of insects.

Lakeside view

In the middle of nowhere at Finnish Lapland. No roads insight. No people insight. Just silence and beautiful, calming lake
Front yard bunny

We live a small city of Rovaniemi, slightly over 50 thousand people. Our house is at the suburbs and the forests are near. A bunny in our yard is a common sight

Finnish Lapland

I'm going through my pics and making separate back ups from pictures that brings back memories This was taken by my second oldest daughter in 2019

Oiva The Beagle

Oiva has been with us now for a week. And yesterday he started to explore our backyard. Most of the backup is for the dogs, so they can run around as much as they like
