This will sound very cliched but something I found that helped me was to go outside and lie on the grass, or just sit in nature (even if it’s only your backyard or a small patch of grass). It was suggested to me after I got some really bad news and it did seem to help, at least a little. I hope you’re feeling better and more on top of things soon, and am sending hugs.

When my very frail (and very stubborn) MIL stayed with us when recovering from an injury, I had grab rails installed in the shower and next to the loo. She got really angry and refused to use them.
I’ve found them really handy though, both for holding on to and propping things on in the shower and for lifting myself off the loo after too much ‘leg day’ exercise.
Maybe try to sell them as chunky towel rails and shampoo holders?

Various pubs & clubs, often to see bands. The Punter’s club, espy sometimes, the tote, the empress, others in Brunswick st & around there back in the day. The old Greek theatre, the club, Sarah sands (when it was a venue). That was a trip down memory lane - reminded me I did actually go out quite a lot

Love mushrooms but was giving them the side-eye for quite a while after that story broke
My tooth broke yesterday while I was eating lunch, so now I’ve got a toothache and dentist’s appt. Hopefully it’s just part of the crown and can be re-glued. The tooth also has a big filling so I’m a bit worried they’ll suggest pulling it out
Think they’re all like that… I hate going there for that reason
