If he destroys the DoE, tuition rates will fall because there's no more student loans and universities will have to compete on price
I'll tell you what I'd do, man...
The future is even more bleak. Touch screens only, no desktops. Only tablets everywhere. Everything on the cloud, everything locked down. Sideloading is banned, jailbreaking illegal. Everything runs on iOS or Android. Gen A will love it
Sure, fix schools, too. But phones are their own specific problem and we should ban smartphones for kids under 16. They are bad for kids
Sure, for women, but having lots of sexual partners is idolized for men
Most SteamOS users aren't interacting with a bash shell or anything though, they're just running steam in big picture. If it's valid to say that SteamOS introduced people to Linux because the kernel happens to be Linux, then it's equally valid to say that about Android, which has had a much larger impact than SteamOS has
Why not just give them feature phones? Things that you can communicate with but which don't have social media on them? If you need to access a website, just do it at home on a laptop or something. It's important for kids to be able to experience being a kid before we thrust a digital life on them
Why not?
Nothing wrong with it, but I don't think we should idolize it. If some people choose that kind of life, they should be free to. I don't think it should be encouraged though
Yes but I don't know if there's anyone out there who would install SteamOS on their desktop, vs just using it on steam deck. I know people in this sub certainly would, but I don't think normies would go out of their way to do so without official buy-in from Valve, and they got out of the steam machine business
Good. Ban them for under 16s outside of school too
Promiscuity
Lol, obviously it's terrible that business are pulling out of the US, and in the next few months we will begin to learn what the 1970s were like, but I'm just glad I already have mine
Rich in Canada means you can buy Tim Horton's without even checking the prices on the menu
Good thing I got mine already!
Even with SMS, idk why people expect an immediate response. My dad texts me and if I don't respond in an hour, he starts spamming me. I don't think there is a single piece of technology out there where people should expect the recipient to be constantly reachable.
I don't know why people think this is true. Just because you message me on slack doesn't mean I'm going to see or respond to it immediately.
Ms Lindsey has lost his mind
How many times has Lindsey Graham flip-flopped on hating trump? It's like every other week
The US has one of the best freight rail systems in the world
13 years ago was 2012, when a good many people were convinced the world was going to end according to the Mayan Calendar. Things aren't going very well in America right now

I believe the federal government is preparing to put liberal citizens in concentration camps, CMV
What the title says. The federal government is incrementally eroding our rights in ways that aren't going to put people on the streets with guns immediately, but where in a year or two we will wake up one day and realize that we are afraid to speak our minds, to vote for the opposition candidate, or to go outside. Our freedom of movement, speech, conscience, our right to own guns, our right to vote, and our right to conduct commerce will be subjected to federal restriction. Congress, even under a majority democratic house and senate, will do nothing. The supreme court is toothless. At best, state governors will bang theirs fists against their podiums on TV, but the national guards will be nationalized to herd us into concentration camps for opposing the federal government. Attorneys general will waste months in useless court cases, and the white house will simply ignore the ruling. There is absolutely nothing stopping the federal government from doing this right now, and I doubt any se

Is Fry the oldest person on Earth?
I would think that the technology for cryo freezing people would have been newish by 1999, so there probably aren't too many people from before then who woke up in 3000. There may have been a few people who froze and unfroze around the same time, so he may not be THE oldest, but I think that he's the oldest person in the series
