I just added it as a rule for the communities I moderate. I also set my Bluesky feeds to filter out X links.

According to fedidb.org, Lemmy has plateaued at around 43k active users over the past year.
If you ask me, though, it doesn't matter. The Lemmy ecosystem is active and healthy.
Bluesky add TikTok-like features, including custom "video feeds"
We had to get in on the video action too — Bluesky now has custom feeds for video! Like any other feed, you can choose to pin these or not. Bluesky is yours to customize.
I don't know. I'm just making rough estimates. Suffice it to say that that the lemmy.ml admins do not have any power over the vast majority of lemmy users.

Yeah, actually. Of the top five four instances by MAU according to FediDB, lemmy.ml has 9% of the total user base.

There's already an initiative to launch a third-party ATProto relay. Hopefully soon enough, we'll be able to post on Bluesky without relying on Bluesky PBLLC's infrastructure.
I've heard discussion of Pixelfed on both TikTok and RedNote, which is exciting! Hopefully it's easy to use.
They recently added new translation features. I don't think it's going to happen.

Bluesky has a follow-back problem
Ever since the election, there has been a large influx of disaffected Twitter users unhappy with Elon Musk's involvement in the Trump administration. I'd be fine with that if not for the fact that they follow back everyone who follows them, including scammers, spammers, and various other bad actors.
The worst example of this is an account called "KamallaDreams," which has over 110k followers and regularly posts racists memes. ::: spoiler This one is ironic considering Kamala Harris' mom is Indian.
