The reason why so many birds are here. The tractor is cutting away the plants on the sides of the sloot(waterway). This disturbs a lot of insects, fish, amphibians and other invertebrates . Creating a feeding frenzy.

  • Thanks! The answer is ill of the above. 600mm lens on a APS-C camera 600 x 1.6 cropfactor = 960mm. 32.5 MP sensor 6960 x 4640 pixels cropped to around 1800 pixels wide 16:9 I think I was about 15 meters(~50 feet) from the bird
