  • Thank you! I thought about taking a cutting, but the only close place with huckleberries is a local (beloved) park where taking cuttings may be frowned upon. If I still can't get seeds started in a month or two, I might work up the courage to sneak a small branch x3

  • Huh, I had no idea. Thanks for the heads up!

Is the dirt in those little grow pucks actual peat, or is it "peat" the same way "pencil lead" is actually just graphite?

  • Got it! I plan to overwinter them as I missed the critical planting window this year (I have a warm grow cabinet and powerful grow light, so hopefully things will work out!). :)

Has anyone grown red huckleberry from seeds in here? Any recommendations for starting them properly?

They grow natively, here, but not many native plant sellers seem to sell them, citing their difficulty in cultivating them.

I soaked 30 seeds for 24 hours, then planted them in a seed starter greenhouse with peat under a grow light.

  • Newscorp definitely should be broken up. That fucking Australian cunt fucked everyone worldwide.

  • What's an invitation home? Can you elaborate? We want to get a home someday, but I'm not aware of all the nuances yet.

  • Nestle, Shell, BP, prager U, PayPal (interac please), Uline, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, that dollar store brand.

All of these have destroyed the environment, destroyed our democracy, or destroyed our small cities and towns.

  • Hell yes to satanic schools, but fuck charter schools. They are just a Trojan horse for DOGEing public schools' budgets.

  • Whoa, so you printed out the chocolate badges with a 3D printer? Or did you make some sort of special mold? Those are super cool!

Also, I like your rainbow cake. Rainbow cakes always make me think of good times in early summer, when everything is blooming and warm :)

  • They are dumping hexavalent chromium into the ocean too :|

That is going to poison the environment and all sorts of seafood. You do not want to ingest that form of chromium at all.

  • The great filter.

  • After this (IF there is an after), if I ever hear another """""undecided""""" voter complain about the economy, I'm actually gonna lose my shit. Everyone saw this coming from 1 AU out, there was literally no reason to vote this asshole in.

  • She'd probably hit the boat unevenly and rocket backwards into the water, while pushing the nose of the boat even further away, haha.

  • It is! It's mostly just psychological, but it's a fun traverse.

  • Ban chlorine and chloramine in the water too! The microorganisms will strengthen your immune system. Just like Haiti. :)

  • Nothing went wrong. Remember the era where every sequel was straight to DVD? Who remembers The Lion King 2? How about Brother Bear 2? Sonic Adventure 2?

It's difficult to iterate on a piece of media that was written to be a standalone entity.

The only exceptions really are when stories are split into multiple games (such as halo 1-3)

Your best bets for fluoridated toothpastes are probably sensodyne, unless you can find these more obscure brands.

WA may be getting a new statewide bike highway system (Seattle Times)

A very cool plan. The only part that is annoying is a new 10% sales tax on ebikes on top of the existing 10% sales tax. You'd be better off buying your ebikes out of state at this point. Other than crippling a nascent, ultra-low carbon market in a rapidly heating world, this looks like a great plan.

What song makes you think of old happy memories? What time was this from in your life? Do you have a certain day or event attached to that song?

Tonight, I attended a talk on neuroscience and brain research, and there were a lot of interesting links between memories, behavior, and mental health. So I'm doing my own little version of that in this thread. What song do you associate with happy memories, even if it's just a general feeling of happiness? Can you recall one of your oldest ones?

Go your own way, by Fleetwood Mac makes me think of fun car trips with my parents, roughly around 6-8 years old. Nothing terribly specific, though I do associate it closely with one of the city highway on ramps used to go visit relatives, go skiing, or get to the airport. :)

Do any of you have recommendations for aquarium heaters for a 5gal/19L tank? My current heater is either underpowered, or dying.

I have a HOB filter that is also probably cooling the water down a bit.

Are the new 'city' bug missions crazy for anyone else?

We were on Haz 7 on Fori Prime last night, and we easily killed well in excess of 300-600 bugs per diver, multiple bile titans, half a dozen+ chargers, etc.

They just never stopped spawning. We leveled half the city with strategems, arc throwers and flamethrowers and they just kept coming as if the spawners were broken. Are these levels OP for anyone else?

I've played for 160 hours and have never seen anything like this before.
