Linux is probably your best bet. Alternatively, if you really want Windows, you could try installing a windows home edition, which can't join domains so might not work with whatever software is trying to provision it.

Where you able to boot to the windows installer when you plugged in the usb drive? If not, plug in the windows installer USB, go into BIOS and change the boot order so that the USB drive is first. This same advice applies if you're trying to install Linux from a USB.

Windows updates don't work correctly a lot of the time if you've bypassed the requirements. My predecessor at work installed 11 on some ancient systems and it's been a hassle.

It's hit or miss. The instant release Adderall has been more reliably available than the extended release version, but they're both often delayed by a couple of days. The longest delay for me so far was like 2 weeks for the extended release. I've been taking it for almost a year now.
Agreed, I took about 10 months off after quitting my last job, and ended up moving about 4 months into it. I never got bored and the only downside was that I had to find a job eventually. It was the best 10 months I can remember.
