Do not use a bamboo cutting board; that will dull your knife much quicker than an wood end-grain (or just a normal wood cutting board) or plastic cutting board such as the well-known white Oxo Goodgrips cutting boards (with plastic board having their own concerns due to microplastics). Thank you for your reply and for pointing out where I could find the default sorting. It was set to "default". When I get it to "Hot", rotating my phone no longer changed the sorting of my posts.
(possible bug) Posts are filtered by Active when I rotate my phone
I have been trying to figure out for a while now why the hell posts would keep getting filtered by Active when I keep setting them to be filtered by Hot. Well, today I think I figured it out. I noticed that I put my phone down for a second, and after picking it up, the posts I had been reading through had completely changed,and they were filtered by Active. I filtered by Hot, rotated my phone, and lo and behold, they filtered by Active again.
Can this be fixed? Also, is it possible to implement default sorting in the settings? Thanks!

Came here to say Savotta. Made in the EU, with top notch materials. Also agree about Knipex (I only have a wire cutter which I use for my guitar strings, but damn is it nice).
I've been using sync since 2019 as my exclusive reddit client, and I paid the 23Eur to remove ads (and to support the dev, as I knew that lemmy was a small community, so I wanted the best possible client back in August), so you could say I've been supporting the app since day 1 (day 0 being the date of its release on the 2nd of August, 2023).
I understood the occasional hiccups, or the few times videos didn't load (Redgifs, I'm looking at you). However, lately there have been a lot of bugs, and it seems like nothing is being done about it. At this point, it is abandoned, and it would be nice to either see "I'm working on it" or "so long and thanks for all the fish", but silence is just the worst option. That way, we can suck it up and wait if improvements are going to be made, or we can move to the next best app down the list (because I definitely think this is the best app for lemmy, as it was for reddit).
