I already have Krita on my Android phone, although it does say it's better on tablets
How come only 'males' are allowed to answer this? I watch Kristi Burke, who is not on your list.
Justice shouldn't he punitive, it should be rehabilitative. For that purpose, jail should only be used when there is no chance of rehabilitation and the person needs to be separated from society because they're a danger to society.
Have you tried Open Camera?
It's not about whether nudity is fine. It is. It's about whether images of naked children should randomly show up at work on people who are browsing Lemmy's computers. Not safe for work doesn't mean it's morally bad or anything, it just means it's not safe to be seen at work.
Should probably mark this nsfw

With my mind she runs
Hm, I wonder why that is...
Can't be at all to do with the fact that Android has a much more open development and installation platform than a famously locked down device. Most FOSS developers use Android, and write app's for devices like those ones that they own. The better question is, why not just use Android and use something like LibreTube? In terms of cost, Android devices are much cheaper, and in terms of capability, they're more capable.
What's the point of reposting an advice question? First of all, there's an actual crosspost feature, just use that instead of including a link to the user but not a link to the original post, and secondly, it seems wrong to be spamming crossposts into other communities. If the OP wanted it posted, they could have done it themselves, or you could recommend to them that they do so.
In a similar vein, it would be nice to be able to subscribe to posts separately from having made them (and you could unsubscribe, which would be your feature), so you could also get notified for replies to posts you didn't make, like you could on Reddit.
I used to feel similarly. Now I identify as genderfluid transfeminine.

It's also an identity and distance thing. Like, is the Baltic Sea the same, identity wise, as the Mediterranean? Even if the Baltic Sea is very large, if there was a corpse right below me in it, I wouldn't want to swim there.
Thanks! Now everyone reading the thread, who, like me, didn't know, knows :)
Tomorrow gay month is over
Is this from something?
I don't want to be perceived as pushy, or make other think trans people are obnoxious... Couldn't someone else correct them? That would feel better and more natural
As a trans person, I'm very glad I live today and not the 1990s
Helsinki. Seems like a fairly decent place.
I'm getting 'operation not permitted' errors with Syncthing Fork and a few other issues, can anyone help?

Several different, random seeming files across various different Syncthing folders keep failing to sync even after restart, rescan, and reconfiguration, with the below error
syncing: finishing: opening temp file: open /storage/emulated/0/Pictures/Webcam/.syncthing.2024-07-1621:42:30.jpg.tmp: operation not permitted
I don't how how to fix it, the desktop app has the required permissions, and the Android app has as many storage permissions as I can give it under Android's horrible SAF limitations.
It seemed to used to be happening only to some specific old files, but now it's happening to all the new files I add onto my laptop under Videos or Music.
In addition, when trying to sync files with a specific server, it shows as disconnected, even when both are online and connected to the LAN (my phone via WiFi, the server via Ethernet), and there is some error about encryption expectations
