They’re plotting …
Plotting the overthrow of ignorance.
Pennsylvania GOP lawmaker apologizes for questioning a 12-year-old about pornography at civics event

Instead of rephrasing or redirecting the question, the senator explained to her, in front of the entire audience, that it meant ‘naked pictures of people in books and magazines.
which isnt what pornography means. im sure everyone here knows that, but i still felt like i had to point it out

whenever i see an llm-chatbot integrated into another website or app, i always wonder what the point is. i only use llms when i really have to, but even if i was an enthusiastic user, why wouldnt i just use my preferred model directly instead?

vlc works pretty well, but for some reason it cuts off the first 1-2s of any first song i play

they also have a pretty good orange limo

"Das Wort Normalisierung habe ich gar nicht benutzt", sagte Spahn und beklagte, es werde "versucht, irgendwas zu konstruieren".
merke: die einzige art etwas zu normalisieren ist es, das wort "normalisierung" zu verwenden.

i thought thats the point of the post? cybertrucks are bought by guys working in tech who are insecure about their lack of ability in "manly tasks"... like loading up a pickup

hast du villeicht das hier fallen gelassen:

Artificial intelligence will also play a larger part in making Digg more accessible to users, Rose said

dont know where people are getting the idea that this would make the iphone outrageously more expensive. iphones are already pretty much the phone with the highest profit margin, 54% on the iphone 14max. adding to that, the pay for the average foxconn worker in china isnt as low compared to the minimum wage in most us states as one might imagine, with around 2.80$ compared to 7.25$ minimum wage. its pretty bad, but they arent paid cents per hour. lastly, labor isnt exactly whats expensive about the iphone anyway.
looking at all these numbers, it seems entirely plausible for apple to manufacture iphones in the us while barely raising the price.
besides that, these comments also come off as a defense of sweatshop work. im sure thats not the intent, but you gotta ask yourself what it sounds like when you mock the idea of work being done by (more) reasonably paid people, because it would make your already overpriced toy more expensive. i get that dunking on trump is fun, but this a really weird angle.

the nilered video was so precious. here we have a guy thats handling extremly dangerous substances (even radioactive ones) on the regular, yet he totally loses his cool over a cookie cracking in the oven

reminds me of how during the crypto hype, a lot of companies just added "crypto" or "blockchain" to their names and saw their value skyrocket for a short time.

i think there were one or two right wing instances, but they got defederated from everyone

to jump off of?

first off:
Ashley Cummins, who is now a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter who fights under the name “Smashley,”
"Smashley" is an awesome name
Cummins also said that, one time, another officer intentionally failed to search a homicide suspect for a weapon and didn’t tell her, putting her in danger, according to KNSD. In another incident, she was told to leave a crime scene for no reason. Sometimes, other officers would just yell at her over the police radio.
fucking freaks. and not the fun kind.

actually putting on "angel" while reading this makes it up to 23% better

"open link" and "open link in external" do the same thing?
For me, both of those functions open the link in the built-in browser. Is this a common problem?
