This reminds me of an article that was posted on here a few years ago about an American journo's "trying" time dealing with Covid while on a luxury vacation in Paris. Oozing with privilege and completely disconnected from reality.

I'm a Trotskist-Dukakist Super Mega Tankie

Pretty wild seeing

Both Mets announcers today just referred to Taiwan as China. Gary was talking about a starter pitching in China, although he "corrected" himself right after. Then Daniel Murphy followed and referred to it as China again. Based Maoist Mets booth

Dems are raising hell by funding genocide

Ended up getting the full game of First Beserker: Khazan after enjoying the demo.
I had really been wanting to play Clair Obscur: Expidition 33 after seeing all trailers, but haven't started yet and not sure if I will if I stick with FSB in the mean time.

I think things are reaching a breaking point. The crew member that recently got promoted is starting to see more of what it is I went through whenever we were short staffed and he's had enough. Honestly if I were confident enough that I could get more people agitated and organized I would start to do it, but I know him and he's been really anti-union whenever we've talked about unions in general. The next biggest obstacle being that all the other leads/managers are close with our boss from a previous project they worked on.
So all I have left is just to hit the job market and see what upper management wants to do in the meantime. If they get serious about giving us a proper head count then I might just stay, but the number of times they've "thought" about it in the past few years doesn't give me any confidence that they've ever been serious about staffing our locations properly.

The little kindling of the desire to quit is starting to grow more and more. The biggest problem is I don't want to leave this job without having another secure and the job market right now sounds like its absolute shit. But I got to do something. Im pretty much back at my old job with how little support we get here.

The only difference i can think of is just that in the NBA and NFL the expectation for immediate impact is far greater than in MLB where its much rarer for guys to go from college straight to the pros.
Still the discussions around Shaduer and Bronny feel so over the top at both extremes.

Have to say, this whole saga has provoked some of the weirdest takes. Honestly not so unlike the whole drama around Bronny. Has the internet broken people's understanding/memory of multigenerational pro athletes?

I've generally stayed away from places where I'm going to see this much, but a few weeks ago I checked out an anarchist song that was posted here and decided to read the youtube comments... uh. Big mistake. But also it really was just some petty historical shit. Like why not look towards the past to learn from mistakes that were made rather than rehashing an argument that should have died out ages ago?

I thought Milchick's character development was one of, if not the most, compelling parts of season 2. I had been wanting to do a little post/commentary on it, but Afrodizjha does a much better job of putting it together than I could ever hope.

Is the entire panel falling off or is it just a cover for the buttons? If its the cover then maybe you can stick some sort of plastic caps on the panel to replace the gray cover. If its the entire panel then go with came apart at Kmart's suggestion.

The way they tell it, you'd think everything from DW, to Fox, to Propublica, to straight up AP News articles, are all written by the same people.
Seriously, if you look into each cubicle we're in we aren't all the same person
