I'm Buckminster Burkeswood (I'm also, mr.prol1f1c), and I live in the layer above this one, the part you mistake for déjà vu. I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

  • Brah, no offense, but I'm not gonna go down a rabbit hole where every single thing I publish I have to give random posters "proof" that I didn't generate something. I already had to prove to someone what the fucking font was because they thought the font was ai: https://reddthat.com/comment/24100089

Is this really how you all are gonna live now? Seriously? I mean, have at it. But I ain't gonna do it. Especially over a cartoon making fun of lemmy.world mods. lol

  • You accused me right out of the gate of ai generation, then called "bullshit" when I told you it wasn't. And you say I'm talking down?! The very thing that you don't like about my art has been a fixture of all the comics I like! Really, go look at them. They are much more clever than me, and I have stolen plenty of elements from them. lol Dude, I'm a crappy artist using GIMP and Photopea. I don't even have to defend myself against anything anyway.

I did a little joke nagging on the lemmy.world mods. Ya don't like, then cool.

Listen, man. I don't wanna get in a war of words with you. If you wanna see ai wherever you look, then have at it. I shouldn't have even jumped in the comments. I'm older than your grandma, so I don't know what I was even thinking. I know how Lemmy is, and I still looked in the comments. So that's on me! lmao

Carry on, and thanks for the discussion.

  • Dude, have you even seen comics before today? lol Look up one panel comics, boy are you gonna have fun. Especially look up one called The Far Side. Oh and Red Meat. Have fun!

  • ❤️

  • According to Lemmy, everything is ai. This is not. I know, because I'm the one who created it. And I've done a bunch of them over the last 25 years. :)

  • Just standin' up against tha chads!

  • I'm not scared of him at all. I have special soda can piercing slingshot ammo. Plus my armour is made out of tuna fish tins, so I sleep very well.

  • I do feel bad for lying about this story. So here's the truth: They weren't Windows 95 mini-CD's. That's ridiculous. The reality is that they were TempleOS mini-CD's, but I didn't want to besmirch the reputation of such a fine operating system. Windows 95 doesn't perform well in the cold weather, so no one would want them anyway. TempleOS is a cold-weather performing powerhouse though.

  • As long as the kid stays off my lawn, I don't care what he does!

  • It's ok. When winter comes around, all monkeys just curl up and die. Much like gorillas.

  • You're right. I fibbed. I'm not sure why I felt the need to lie about. I feel quite terrible about it. They weren't Windows 95 CD's at all. They were Atari BASIC mini-CD's. But, well, fuck Atari. amiright?!

  • The Loonies!

  • ❤️

  • Preach, brother! Preach!

Source: Worked for Walmart twice. In one day.

  • I've lived next door to you for the last 3 years. Imma be straight with you right now, Marvin. The neighborhood has already talked about your sleeves because you refuse to put up curtains in your house. So yes, you are behind closed doors, but not behind closed windows!

I may have to go to the local press to see if they will write a story about you!

  • I can't help how your app interacts with Lemmy. I use Lemmy desktop version, so no issues here.

But I don't want you to be mad, so here's the truth: The guy in this story actually sells Egyptian hairless rabbits, but I thought guinea pigs were cuter. Rabbits are so vulgar without fur, and I couldn't bear it. Evil, vile little creatures. Soulless. Demonic. Dangerous too. Ever been chased by a pack of hairless rabbits?! It sucks. I promise. So yes, I fibbed a bit! I promise to be a better person from now on. Starting tomorrow. Day after at the latest. Definitely the day after that at the latest if my last latest doesn't pull through.

  • Read the sidebar.

The Onion typically writes the piece straight, like it’s a real news report, and they don’t put “this is satire” inside the article text. The only reason you know the Onion is fake, is because it's so well-known now.

  • I’m currently in the audience at the 67th Annual Cat Olympics in southern Norway, where world records are apparently being broken in the cat water diving event. So yeah, you just gave me a little levity in what is a very intense and serious environment. Cat athletes are taken extremely seriously around here, so whew! Thanks for the support!!

  • Same town where Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats were invented. So maybe the mini-CD's are for mini-computers?

  • Quality and quantity. These are the good ole days for doomness!
