My workplace is giving old mini PCs to the employees. I put a linux distro on that and use it as a media pc. You can get them on ebay or similar for ~30 €, so it's basically the same price as a TVStick. I reccommend getting a bluetooth keyboard as well.

If you want another stick then there's also Roku.

I think it's not unimportant. In the past, Astronauts have been highly skilled people that trained their whole life for one goal, to get into space. It's a job and a calling.
Are these new people that go into space that? I would just call them space tourists, not astronauts. If they do not perform task during the flight, they're passengers, not crew.

It is great that the accessibility of space is getting better, but calling everyone that goes into space an astronaut would be, in my opinion, diminishing the achievement of the people that came before them and pushed this frontier.

Ich habe ein neues (gebrauchtes) Motorrad gekauft, eine Ducati Monster 821 (M604AA wie's in den Fahrzeugpapieren steht). Jetzt warte ich drauf, dass ich die Fahrzeugpapiere zugeschickt bekomme, damit ich zur Zulassungsbehörde springen kann, das gute Stück zulassen und dann abholen kann.

Jetzt habe ich irgendwann während des Kaufvorgangs festgestellt, dass dieses Modell der Monster Euro3 homologiert ist und ein eingetragenes Standgeräusch von 102 dB hat. (Der tatsächliche Pegel ist irgendwo in der Nachbarschaft von 95 dB)
Jetzt habe ich das Problem, dass ich damit nicht ins Tirol darf :( (und solche Lärmpegel generell eine Zumutung sind). Es gibt mindestens einen Auspuff-Hersteller, Roadsitalia, der neben einem "normalen" dB-Killer auch einen "No-Noise" dB-Killer anbietet und meine Hoffnung ist, dass ich damit den Pegel nochmal drücken kann. Die geben aber keine Daten heraus, um wie viel sich der Pegel tatsächlich verringert. Falls also jemand jemanden kennt, der oder die sich auskennt, wie man den Pegel von der M6 um 7 dB drücken kann, wär ich sehr dankbar :) (Einschlägiges Monster-Forum hat direkt gesagt: "garnicht lol", hätte das aber gern eloquenter :D )

Was ist deine Empfehlung für einen guten Twin-Stick Shooter? Ich suche was aus der Top-Down Perspektive, sowas wie Intravenous, Helldivers oder Doorkickers. Eher was taktisches. Ansonsten hau gern raus, womit du sonst deine Zeit am Deck verbringst :)

Da müssten die Gesetze angepasst werden. Die komplette Medizin, alles was damit zu tun hat, ist Plastik und noch mehr Plastik und Einwegprodukte. Die Medikamentenhersteller müssen über alle Zweifel hinweg nachweisen, dass das Produkt sicher ist. Und das ist bei Mehrfachampullen einfach ein Problem, weil Kontaminationen auftreten könne, oder weil Lösungsmittel falsch zum Wirkstoff dosiert werden können.
Es gibt bestimmt Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten; Die Medikamentengesetze erscheinen manchmal wie bei den Pharisäern. Schicht um Schicht an Gesetzen und Regeln um das eigentliche Ziel, Patientensicherheit, auch wenn manches übervorsichtig oder unnötig wirkt (oder ist). Auf der anderen Seite ist das Ziel halt am Ende, Menschenleben zu sichern. Ich weiss nicht, wo man da den sicheren Grad festlegt. Und viel der Gesetze ist halt auch einfach in Blut geschrieben (Contergan, AIDS-Blutkonserven, etc.)

You could Sidegrade to a x3d chip from AMD, though not sure how CPU-heavy the Finals is. And then there's the upgrade to a new GPU (with accompanying PSU upgrade, maybe/probably). The 6000 series is two generations old now. That would be the most obvious route. RAM and MoBo look fine. How's the fan setup for the case?

I have yet to install it, but I plan to run it "baremetal" in a Debian VM, would that be better than in a docker, or do I actually need to run it baremetal, in parallel/ on a different system than proxmox? (Or it's own LXC container)
