i'm now worried that even in this scenario, the current status quo won't be sustainable. it doesn't seem possible for either iran or israel to back down without the former getting or being barred from getting nukes; and as israel continues to incur damage, it will continue to whine to the State Department, and there will be more time for consent manufacturing and more opportunities for false flags, and one way or another the americans will be dragged in.
