Every country on the planet would retaliate against the US to try and keep it contained to North America. A lot of them know that, which is why it wouldn't surprise me to see more alliances spring up in opposition to NATO while NATO itself starts to disband.
Sorry for sounding like a doomer, but every single time I expect countries to do the right thing - and every single time rational minds say the rational thing - the world seems to do the opposite. Is there any actual evidence that other counties would challenge US hegemony in any scenario?
We're already en route to destroying our planet and people aren't doing jack about that. I've gotten to the point where I'm pessimistic that if the US decides it wants the world to burn in a nuclear holocaust, other countries won't just let it happen. The way things are going, many might nod along and say it's a great idea.
That makes it sound like they just began their 10 year modernization of their military... which is less reassuring.
The double standard is the point. Remember that whites aren't consistent, they are nasty little hypocrites who will take every opportunity to demean minorities while praising their own for the same behaviour. Israel and Ukraine have been the most transparent examples of this, but there are countless others in everyday life.
I am notorious for feeling the existential tug in the month leading up to my birthday, so I feel you. Do something that you don't get to do that often that will make you happy, go to your favourite restaurant (or cook your favourite food), walk in your favourite place. Try not to be internal and indoors on this day, try to do something that celebrates even if it's in a small way.
After all, you were born x amount of years today and that's joyous. I won't say you're loved (by the people here) because when people say that to me, it comes across a bit hollow. But by virtue of you being the type of person who chooses to spend their time in leftist spaces, I sincerely hope you find a way to have a joyous, happy birthday. Maybe that is love.
They don't want to know the truth, they just want to be mad.
They want to be superior. A lot of these people are straight whites who have grown up all their lives being taught that they are better than others, that they are owed the luxuries of life, that full control is their birthright. We already know that all of society just accepts that their luxuries come at the expense of severe exploitation of others, and we accept it. That's fine. After all, some people are simply lesser than us, right?
The chuds take it a step further. They want everyone under their thumb, there are scores of people lesser than them. They are uniquely qualified, everyone else is a DEI hire. It's their country, they should get to dictate who can enter it, who can stay, and who will be violently and cruelly ejected from it. It's their culture, and anyone who doesn't look like them, doesn't think like them, doesn't like to fuck who they like to fuck, is lesser.
Straight whites have grown up with this entitlement, some of them became famous and started saying it louder, but they're only saying the things that straight whites want to hear and have been conditioned from birth to believe are true. I struggle to trust any whites because I often see that belief leak out in the way they behave in their everyday lives. It's not about being mad, it's about being above.
For someone who only has a very basic understanding of coding, what would you recommend learning that would be the most useful?
This is gonna sound silly, but dishwasher. I got a small one only this year after many, many years of being the dishwasher (and not cooking as much as a result). But since getting a dishwasher, I've been cooking loads. It's genuinely amazing the difference it makes, knowing that you don't have to leave a big pile of stuff to clean up later every time you cook. I can even put my whole air fryer basket in there!
Plus it uses a controlled amount of water for the whole load so you aren't running the tap constantly and wasting water.
