There's a tariff for that.

/r/CyberStuck Shutdown
Sounds like a Mod blew a gasket. Wait, Cybertrucks don't have gaskets. Sounds like a Mod's wheel sheered off. Anyone know what specifically caused the spontaneous combustion? There's always a trigger. Even if it has to do with the complaint earlier about Rule 1 something happened.
I trust you've volunteered for it to replace you then. It being so beneficial to society, and all.
It means less people do more work.
And then those people no longer working... do what, exactly? Fewer well-paying jobs, same number of people, increasing costs. Math not working out here.
The fact that people are being replaced means that AI actually has tremendous value for our society.
Oh, it has value. Just not for society (it could that's the sad part). For very specific people though, yeah, value. Just got to step on all the little people along the way, like we've always done, eh?
Yeah, rather than volunteering its more likely you lack a basic characteristic of humanity some of like to refer to as "empathy" instead. And if -- giving you the benefit of the doubt -- you're just a troll... well, my statement stands.
why we need a moderate candidate just like hillary and kamala.
Screw the "don't rock the boat" candidates... unless they're the only option compared to the "let's destroy America!" candidate on the other side.
Not rocking the boat is better than setting the country on fire for no goddamn reason (if the system were burning down with a reasonable expectation we could make it better that'd be arguably different). I'm sure there are plenty that feel smugly superior for having "protested" by not voting, and I trust you don't mind the whole "country's on fire" thing going on (insert "this is fine" meme).
Right. They should resign. So 100% of the organization can support Israel in peace. That'll fix everything. Good plan.
Better Plan: vote in representatives that represent you, and stop listening to those that make you feel warm and fuzzy. But, this is a harder plan. Requires the majority of voters to, you know, try.
"We didn't start the fire. It's always been burning since the world's been turning..."
God: "No, yeah, that was me. I started it. Flicked over the first domino. Still watching the picture unfold. Quite the sight, wish you could see it."
and slow rebuilding will start.
And then Democratic voters will get complacent, or get all pissy about how their pet project for change isn't getting enough attention fast enough, and not vote the next time leading to a Republican getting back in office BECAUSE SURELY THAT WILL HELP THEIR FUCKING PRECIOUS INTERESTS. It worked out so~ well this past Fall, didn't it? Nothing at all~ to be concerned about, worried about, uncertain about, or terrified about now.
If Democrats elect competent leaders
Pelosi and Schumer, and all their fanbois (people listening to them even when they aren't in office), would need to go.
Merrick Garland. That AG's name is Merrick Garland. It should not be forgot. Merrick Garland. He sat on his ass just like Mitch McConnell thinking things would magically work themselves out without needing to do their jobs and lo and behold things did not magically work themselves out.
Netanyahu Promises the “Final Stage” of Gaza Genocide Will Lead to Implementation of “Trump’s Plan"
Dude, 9/11 was "never forget" -- it was forgotten by the 15th year. The lessons of World War II? Not a lot of faith left in the ol' education system these days. (I know that's America centric, but I bet this trend isn't unusual for most places)
"R-Word" is a ridiculous over correction. It demeans the reason why "N-Word" exists. We collectively said the N-Word is out of bounds because it's the very least anyone can do given historical events that continue to resonate to this very day (god dammit). Now the Internet thinks "R-Word" is a good idea. Why? The word is "Retard." It's okay to say retard. What's not okay is demeaning people by calling them any derogatory term, and blacklisting words thinking that will somehow correct the problem is the height of hubris -- as if there are no other suitable replacements. It's an attempt to take a shortcut to a societal problem. It is, in a word, retarded (you can look up the definition in a dictionary and see it's an appropriate usage).
According to some (now in power):
States have Rights only while the States conform. (See the Governor of Maine's "I'll see you in court" to Trump?)
Much like Speech is Free so long as it conforms. (The Washington Post continues to find out.)
Guys (and Gals), hold on now. Sure, it's a recall for all Cybertrucks, but don't overreact! I'm sure an over-the-air software patch is incoming to fix this issue!
(That's a joke.)
Right. Just because sometimes we have to accept something, doesn't mean we have to like it.
(Though the other commenter implied people commonly or always angered by fact, but then we have nothing to talk about.)
"This disaster has rung a big alarm for Sino-Metals Leach and the mining industry," [says company directly responsible.]
Yeah, no it hasn't. This isn't the first mining dam to fail with consequences. It won't be the last. No one at that company is losing sleep over this.
Both mines have now halted their operations after orders from Zambian authorities, while many Zambians are angry.
Gotta let it die down. Placate the masses. Then back to business as usual.
Realistically, this makes no difference.
Denying Tesla the sale of a second car to a second person makes no difference because they already got the first sale of the first car? Pretty sure Tesla would prefer to sell two cars instead of one, and get the profit directly. There is an assumption here that the original buyer (who sold the car) went and bought another Tesla, which is in conflict with the other poster saying people should sell their Tesla (as it move away from the brand).
The only ones who will buy Teslas now are conservatives and they will buy new ‘just to show support for Musk’.
So, let them. It's still not getting Tesla what they ultimately want -- money -- long as the original owner doesn't buy a Tesla themselves.
Subscriptions might be an argument that Tesla could still profit, but then the question is where/how do they profit more from ownership?
The GMC Hummer EV Pickup Truck has entered the chat.
205-kWh capacity battery [three times the size in a crossover], still gets only 275 miles [2023 version].
Money can't buy you happiness. But it can damn well enable it.
2020: "I can't believe they fell for that. Oh, well, they chose better next time. Let's give them a chance."
2024: "...Yeah, they're just fucking dumb. Countless countries would have loved a chance to get rid of a shitstain like that without needing a violent revolt and the United States just... invited him back into office. Just... so fucking dumb."
"Gas is too high! Why doesn't the President just pull the lever to make them not high?!"
Biden releases strategic reserves to lower prices.
"Ye-- Ye-- Well, the price of eggs is too fucking high. Pull that lever! I dare you!"
Hm, we don't have a strategic egg supply to make simple people happy. This will be a challenge...
Trump claims he'll lower it by getting elected. How? Who the fuck knows and no one cares.
"Why aren't the prices lower yet?!"
Well, gosh, it couldn't have to do with a complex system where there aren't magic levers one just pulls to make things happen... Guess it's Trump's fault. What's good for the goose (Biden) is good for the gander (Trump), after all.
"The prices need to be this high!" /insert picture of sieg heil/
Petah says, "Unlike a carnival ride, 'this high' is literally over one's head. As in, we're in over our heads."
Fuck, Alphabet did it during COVID. YouTubers had to talk around the pandemic or the Great Algorithm of Everything might demonetize or de-prioritize their videos. Yes, let's not talk about the most pressing topic affecting the entire planet because it makes a few marketing geniuses sads... brilliant.
