  • In the last 3 outings, Gausman had a decent one, Kikuchi was outstanding and Bassitt found his old self back. What's more to ask. If the starters can keep having quality starts, we're in business.

I love what I see at bat right now, guys are hustling their asses off, way more than what they did a week ago.

I still believe they'll end up third or fourth in the AL East and won't make the cut for the playoffs though.

I hope Swanson and Romano get their groove back, as you stated, Garcia is the most effective closer right now.

Having Jano back behind the plate is somewhat comforting, I prefer his calling of the game rather than Kirk's but that's just my feeling.

I hope they get 4 out of the next 7 games; one against the Padres and three against the Royals.

  • That's what I understood from context, yeah. I hope they turn things around sooner than later. Thanks for your reply.

  • chase rates were among the top

Luck factor has not started its season yet then!

  • Exactly my feeling, the thirst for wins is not there. Players strikeout three times a match, have an OPS of 0.180 and not an ounce of anger is shown. I hope it turns around.

  • I do believe they're gonna miss the wildcard by a couple games as well.

I don't perceive the thirst for wins they once had, mainly when Teoscar and Gurriel Jr. were still in TO.

And yes, I do hope the players coming back from injuries give the team an uplift.

    Thoughts about this season's start.

While writing these lines, the Jays are 7W-8L and last in the AL East.

I know, I know, it's still early. This is the Jays' motto.

For those who have watched some or all of the games so far, what are your thoughts about the team, your projections?

  • Edit; Not limited to but they were the ones listed when I first opened the article. Sorry if I misread and/or if they updated the article afterwards.

  • Don't misunderstand me, I know very well the USA can interfere with our stuff, they do it on a daily basis. They surely do it to every country they can as well.

We, Canadians, probably interfere or at least try to, in other countries too.

What I meant is the more actors there are, the more difficult it is to break free from it.

Glad we still have elections on paper, somewhat safer than electronic ones.

  • China, Russia, Iran.

Why would it be anyone else.

  • Why not have both instead of replacing the RCMP?

Yes it would be expensive but if residents want more coverage, that would be one way to increase it.

  • Apparently people didn't get the notice. Mortgage interest rates are still >5% for anyone renewing now. Three new houses are being built right now in the street behind mine.

Weird how our neighbourhood didn't see any new buildings from 2016-2022 but now it rains, it pours.

  • Faut aimer Dame Nature.

  • Exactly the same here, we were renting up until 2018 at 900$CAD/month. Our mortgage is 950$CAD/month and our old apartment is now 1200$CAD/month. All expenses included, it's s more expensive to rent than to own.

First time buyers can't hardly get a mortgage now unless you were stashing cash or staying at your parents' for a while.

  • Enjoy it my dudes, blaze it.

From a Canadian who has access to legalized cannabis since 2018, it's a game changer. It's regulated and produced with known and checked ingredients, you don't get fucked up shit with added cutters inside.

  • Not surprised in the slightest. Anything to draw more money from us.

I don't drink nor I condone taxing people who drink but most Brunswickers already have trouble making it to the end of the month. Good luck next elections, Higgs.

  • Not surprised in the slightest.

Everything that isn't in line with Putin's point of view is at risk of being classified as terrorist or extremist, as simple as that.

  • Possible oui!

Tabarnak!

  • I don't know which prefecture is attached to the flag but third row, last one to the right, the clover-like one.

    Edit; it's the Miyagi prefecture.

  • I've never been a fan of Torts either, always seem to be on player bashing mode, punitive trainings etc.

I guess GMs see something that we don't if he keeps getting jobs around the league.
