I feel like I say this about every book Brian K. Vaughn touches, but Paper Girls is so good. Worth a read if you like time travel plots, features an LGBT+ character going through self acceptance in a very real way for the fantastical nature of the plot.
"I Gave My Life To Truck-Kun, But Went To Heaven Anyway To Be The Better Angel" might sway them.
Get on it, Vatican City.
You just put us through the entire lifecycle of a meme. Inception, adoption, oversaturation, deconstruction.
This is not natural. You're going to mess with the balance of the memecosystem if you keep this up!
It's like the early 2000s returned to vomit into my eyeballs, without the rampant phobia.
I adore it.
Damn, surprised Hotline Miami made that little. It feels like it's still a fairly well known indie title. Not Stardew Valley big, but large enough that people still refer to it occasionally.
When I prayed for Jesus to be packin', this is not what I meant.
Oh well, least I still have Mohammed. Maybe Buddha, too.
That's the bad(and good) part with my lot. So damn intelligent and persistent, they figure out a way.
I've been tempted to move to child locks, but I'm half scared that by the time they've fully grown, they'll have figured out how to manipulate those. I know at least one has figured out how to unzip my backpack, flush the toilet, and turn on faucets. She's almost gotten down how to turn doorknobs by dangling.
"Who found a new way into the trash?"
Doesn't matter what I do, someone is finding a way in there to see if there's anything left in a food can.
Somehow while scrolling, I managed to see "U liar" and "I'm a cat not an idiot" first, and got really confused on how they got Lying Cats sassy energy but fucked up the depiction so badly before realizing there was more.
"I do not embezzle with my hand; he who embezzles with his hand has forgotten the face of his father. I embezzle with my mind."
Damn, that's been the problem.
I've been taking whichever fork Saria's Song was coming from.
I can't blame anyone. That's where they send the big lizards.
Goes to show how well my memory works, I genuinely thought it was supposed to still be a thing in 1 but the official deal fell through until 2.
$200 is $200, I could get a tome rebound for that.
The official shoes of Sonic, at least during the Adventure era.
I'm waiting for a theater to lean into it. Make it out like a Rocky Horror show, sell pre-assembled bags that have all your tossables, maybe some lines printed out as guides for when to shout, a little plastic lump to take home for the kids.
Set-up right next to the lawn dart course.
There is something absolutely relaxing about using a power washer. It feels weird, because the things are pretty loud and you definitely feel the wand in your hands, but it's like you can just push everything into that jet of water and watch it run down.
I assume that goes away after awhile, especially if it's your job, but if it's something you only break out on occasion, absolutely therapeutic in a weird way.
Not just manuals, either. Feelies in general. Getting a map to look at, or a little lore booklet, even things that were just "in-universe", like the coin and letter Witcher 2 came with.
Small things you didn't preorder to get, just included with the package. Things that you could keep as physical mementos of time spent.
Those stars get a time most of us don't, a time to truly recharge. That's something I've really started striving towards, finding and making more time to be with the people, doing the things, that rekindle the fire.
I can't say it's made everything perfect, but I've been feeling better since finding them, and while there's some wells they can't help refill, the ones they do are enough to keep me going a little while longer, until I can find and share with them what does, and so I can keep helping refill theirs.
Transphomet Rule
Got my second "subtle flag" pin in! So happy, so fucking cute!
Found these three out in the wild
Came across these three Bandai Quick model kits while out and about. They looked adorable, so they came home and got built.
Honestly great for beginners/kids! Pieces pop out of the frame easily, they're fairly easy to click together, and decently solid for snap-togethers. You can at least pick them up without everything falling apart, though Mew is finicky about staying upright in its stand. Young kids would probably need help with the stickers, and maybe with getting the eye pieces slotted into place.
Going to keep my eyes out for the rest of the line, now.

My wife surprised me with the two-piece Mothman and the NB placard she found at an event as an early birthday present! She got me the trans heart last year.
