Trump’s indictment has turned every American voter into a juror

  • I doubt this describes most Fox News viewers. I suspect a majority of them fall into a third category of “blind believers”. Fox News tells them the indictments are a sham, they believe it’s a sham. Especially when it’s sandwiched between two things that make them angry.

  • I recently added a bedroom and did some research about cost vs home value added. I think the general takeaway is you probably only get like 80% ROI (or if you spend 100k, it’ll add 80k to your home value.

So the big question is: how much personal value will you get from this room in the meantime? Does it make up that 20%?

How do computers make any color using red/green/blue, when paints make every clor using red/yellow/blue?o

Im always confused by RGB. I learned that if you want orange, you mix red and yellow. If you want green, you mix blue and yellow, if you want purple, you mix red and blue.

How is it that computers need green and not yellow?

Why are indigo and violet in the rainbow and not just purple?

I always learned “ROYGBIV” as the colors of the rainbow. Red, orange, yellow, blue, indigo, violet.

What’s up with the last two? Isn’t indigo basically just dark blue? Why is it violet and not purple? Can’t it just be “ROYGBP”?

Why can’t I find certain communities when logged into my WireBase account?

There seem to be many communities that should be discoverable if I search for them by name, but don’t appear in search results for me when I’m logged into my WireBase account. I can see them when I’m logged into my Lemmy.World account. It doesn’t matter whether I’m using an App or web browser. Why?

The Lemmy.world hack made a good opportunity to explore other instances out there. Found one based in my area. Back in action!
