  • It definitely depends on how much they incorporate improvements from Legends: Arceus Z-A (one of the side games). Gens 6 - 8 were all so easy that a popular way to play each of those is with a difficulty mod, if you are able.

Gen 9 tried to mix it up a bit, but as another user mentioned the performance on the Switch was so poor that it was hard to enjoy.

Legends: Arceus Z-A has introduced several quality of life features that could be game changing if they make it into Winds & Waves, but we shall see. This could be the most fun mainline gen, if they do it right, or they could fumble it again.

Edit: Looking back, both times I meant to say Z-A I said Arceus. Whoops.

  • I have favorites from every generation, but I'll try to narrow it down to a few:

    • Growlithe
    • Specifically Spiky-eared Pichu
    • Umbreon
    • Zoroark
    • Clodsire

I have a lot more favorites, and don't even get me started on legedaries and mythicals. I used to be really big into collecting those.

  • Yeah I have some and they 100% require a koozie/beverage sleeve.

  • The good stuff is usually potato starch or corn starch, but the cheap stuff is indeed often "cellulose". Apparently some use both.

  • In addition to an ad blocker, make sure you're using the .net site and not the .com one.

  • Honestly the others in this comment section would be better to ask about accessing Jellyfin remotely, but I can tell you what I know.

If you go the VPN route, Tailscale is typically recommended, which appears to be free for personal use. It looks like these are the docs for using Tailscale with Jellyfin.

I host a couple services for my family using a reverse proxy (nginx through SWAG), and I have a free domain name with duckdns. This is not as secure as the above tailscale solution, but has worked for me so far. This is likely how I would add Jellyfin to my workflow, since I already have a reverse proxy and domain name.

  • I don't run Jellyfin, but I've considered it. From what I understand, you have to set up a reverse proxy or something like Tailscale in order to access it remotely. Doing that safely can take a bit of learning, but the only part that could cost money is getting a domain name.

  • In that metaphor, though, the passengers have agreed to prevent the bus from driving off the cliff. From my experience with the No Kings protests, there isn't an overarching demand other than "Maybe don't be so terrible" and a general expression of displeasure.

  • It even has multiple sync options (like Nextcloud), so I can keep listening on my PC with KDE Kasts if I so choose.

  • Honestly same. I just beat Hollow Knight earlier this year (so, I have a pretty recent comparison) and the basic enemies are so much harder. The few boss fights I've done seem comparable, but any more than 3 enemies at a time means I have to lock in or die.

  • Cleo

    Jump
  • Cute! This is my Cleo.

  • Also, the most common 3D printing filament is made of the bioplastic polylactic acid, which is typically derived from corn. Whether that is strictly "better" from an environmental perspective is a fair question.

  • I love so many video game soundtracks, so I'll try to just list a few:

    • Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
    • Monster Hunter: Tri (wonderful balance of stirring and cozy)
    • Bloodborne (really almost all of FromSoft's soundtracks, but especially this one)

I also really like Hollow Knight and Hades soundtracks, and of course DOOM (2016) has already been mentioned.

  • And no licensed repair places near me have batteries in stock

  • The 8bitdo Ultimate 2 has physical switches that change its triggers from analog to digital. Probably still too much to expect Nintendo to implement, but having the choice is nice.

  • And no discount for the DLC or complete edition
