It's cute that you think they'll allow you to continue to ignore these ads
Sony already owns a patent for forcing people to say the advertisers' slogans as of 2023, and Roku was already experimenting with forcibly displaying ads over anything else displayed as of 2024.

I was listing specific examples which appealed to your non standard definition of social media, but you've moved the goalposts, and ignored the extra features such as STI services that even typical social media often lack. Anyway, it seems that you have a narrow and non contemporary definition of social media. It is simply any form of mass communication over the internet, including but not limited to email mailing lists, BBS, or even "just chat" because surprise, people use these systems as social media.

Idk if you're being deliberately being obtuse, but the gay community uses these apps a lot as social media. They have group chats, friend lists, friend only conversations, video chat, and all that jazz.
Several governments and charities have also partnered with these hookup apps to disseminate updates about current events and news in the gay community, such as pertaining to STI prevention and management strategies, legislative changes, and advice on how not to get hate crimed when going out.
I thought it was just dating.
💀
It's a hookup app. It has features where you post your nudes to anyone in your vicinity, not just followers
I know it's a dumb meme, but strong disagree on grid cities. They always violate the natural landscape of the city, and are only easier to navigate if the land is very flat, or if you are driving.
The windy roads of organically developed cities look confusing on a map, but are often way easier to navigate and understand when on foot. Wayfinding is instead done in terms of natural features, e.g. go downhill towards the river until you hit the main street.
The lack of a difference between the words drug/medicine seems to be more pronounced in US English, where it is common to say terms such as drugstore. In Commonwealth/UK English, the term chemist is more commonly used, and the terms drug/medicine usually have bad/good connotations. I think most would be alarmed if you said you went to the store to pick up some drugs!
Why? Have you not played The Sims?

Shut up friends. My internet browser heard us saying the word Fry and it found a movie about Philip J. Fry for us. It also opened my calendar to Friday and ordered me some french fries.
No shit.
I would certainly hope so after being laundered
We were already there 10 years ago with Google Glass. Despite its failure in the consumer market, it found significant success in enterprise settings in the exact scenarios you've listed.
Except, all of these are scenarios in blue collar work. Apple seems hell bent on making this succeed in white collar areas with its emphasis on meetings, which is extremely baffling.

Eww Reinhart and Rogoff, all my homies hate Reinhart and Rogoff.
TL:DR Reinhart and Rogoff infamously cherry picked their data and had coding errors to support austerity measures that fucked over much of the world, subsequent meta analyses found that austerity doesn't work.

Physical Vs chemical changes.
It was typically taught that physical changes are differentiated from chemical changes because they could be "undone" or that they had "no chemical reaction." Which was very confusing, because you can't uncut paper, and dissolving stuff in water clearly results in different chemicals being produced, yet both were examples of physical changes (actually the latter is sometimes taught as a chemical change). Furthermore, most chemical changes are actually reversible.
It has since been recognised that this classification is BS, and most changes actually exist on a continuum.
❌Gay Pride
✅Gay Shame
"Gay Shame was created as a protest of (and named in opposition to) the over-commercialization of the gay pride events. Members attack "queer assimilation" into what they perceive as oppressive societal structures."

Literally yes. I recall there was a study (can't find it now) which showed that people who vote for extreme candidates often do so under the assumption that they won't actually follow through with their promises, and hence the vote is more about "sending a message." In some sense, it is a sick version of normalcy bias.
