  • This is just Nixon again. Trump didn't need to be bought or blackmailed (although both are a possibility), he just lied, like he always does

  • [Last one for today] maybe it's just because of my maternal instincts (at least, I think I have those) but I don't understand people who can't cook. Was talking to this guy from one of my classes and he's like "oh I cant cook my mom makes everything for me" and "I'll just eat out when I move out."

I don't really know his economic background, but it just feels very...idk. very something. It does go back to that I said a little while ago about people being incurious.

[Note: the guys a professional rage baiter so he might be joking but I know there are others who genuinely can't cook]

  • 1.Whats Israel's rate? I can't find it on there [probably just blind sorry]

2.Im surprised India's is almost twice as high as china's

  • I wonder how many teachers/professors have interacted with me and gone "wow theyre such a good student" without knowing I enter flight, flight, freeze or fawn mode whenever they enter the room

  • Usually i tend to agree with the idea of publishing more conservative estimates, but it is more than a little insulting to claim they're lying without evidence

  • I think one of the problems i have when going to therapy and such is that depression usually has a "before." As in, you were happy at some point and now you're depressed. But, given I've been struggling with suicidal thoughts since like 13 or thereabouts, there isn't really a before for me.

Sometimes i don't really know if whatever I'm feeling (like when I figured out what degree i wanted) was a "normal" amount of happiness or an excised amount.

This also ties into my mood swings. Being happy is really scary for me. Because I'll get very, very happy and manic and I'll recognize that, and so i have to prepare for when I crash and become sad again [if i don't notice, crashing often compounds how bad i feel, like I'm sad over being sad, if that makes sense]

  • So...what're the chances the US decides to use nukes to "ignite Armageddon"

  • Ngl I think this is an insult to Chaos

  • I think I'm gonna graduate (and take chinese classes) and get a masters from somewhere like Peking University. Obviously I'll need good grades but after talking with a professor friend I think it'll be a good idea for me, and meets most of my goals

  • It genuinely infuriates me. And look, I don't have Tourettes, but I do have mental illnesses. And stuff like this is why I dont talk about that irl.

Liberals love to be accepting until it is actually a problem. "Oh youre autistic, that's so cool you must be super smart" They say until you're having a panic attack because of sensory overload. "Oh you have OCD? Yeah like me too totally I hate it when i don't like have my morning coffee" until theyre distressed about something that doesn't make sense to them. Or hell there's those disgusting men who fetishize BPD until it's the bad part of bpd that hurts them.

Note:Does anyone else see the post body here? None of the comments say anything about it.

What he said was racist, but there's obviously a massive fucking difference between me or you saying that and someone with Tourettes saying that. He thought the BBC was accomodating him while they actually exploited his disability when they could have covered it up like they do so many other things in these shows.

This isn't just something with disabilities, but I hate it when people say "well obviously they don't actually have it if they do something bad." This goes for autism and a host of other things.

Edit: I think i also get so worked up about this because it should be simple. It's the BBC's fault basically almost entirely. There, end of story. This "debate" should have ended basically the day after, but for some reason all the liberal moralists are like "no there has to be one individual person to blame because...reasons."

  • Is it that Centcom is lying about current American casualties, or that there just haven't been that many verifiable kills and rather there's more people MIA? (Or some proportion of the two?)

  • For some reason evil people like him and Hitler have astounding amounts of luck when it comes to assassination attempts, so I'm not going to get my hopes up

  • Trump single handedly resolves shia-sunni schism (/s)

  • On the one hand it bugs me that you never play as a soviet sniper in sniper elite (despite the fact that the soviets were the most prolific snipers in the war), but on the other hand i appreciate that their tradition is to have a level where you kill Hitler

  • This has been a problem since Dresden. I don't blame the allies in the war against Germany for doing that, both because defeating the Nazis was that pressing and also because strategic bombing was a new tool that needed to be tested.

But I definitely do blame it after the strategic bombing survey came back and basically said it didn't work.

I don't think Israel is going off of this though, i think they're actually trying to do what they did to Syria to Iran and just have the country explode and lose all of its military capabilities so they de facto have authority over it.

Edit:although it doesn't explain why they kill civilians. Genuinely just hitler tactics with that

  • Considering the current necessity of the two aircraft carriers, i think if the attacks decrease we might be able to tell if they've been mission-killed

  • I watched this video recently talking about how children/teens become "unresponsive" to certain parents as a coping mechanism, where instead of rebelling and trying to argue they just shut down and try to avoid any interaction with the parent.

I wonder if a lot of the world population feels like that today, where they know that the current governments won't change so instead they just shut down fron everything and try to interact with it as little as possible.

I'll link in here but forwarning, the narration is very irritating. I'm not sure what it reminds me of, but whatever it is it's annoying as all hell

  • On the one hand, Iran has been the target of the US ever since they kicked out their Comprador Shah, on the other it's very clear the American Bourgeoisie greatest fear is china, and basically every strategy they gave factors china in some way. And it makes sense, even if they aren't worried about a proletarian revolution (which they are), defeating china would be the imperialist's greatest victory since the fall of the USSR, possibly even greater given the shear manpower of the country. The likelihood of that is low, however
