Really sad news. I love Stars of the Lid. They were one of my first entry points into ambient music and have been a part of my life for a long time. I remember when Brian McBride's first solo album came out and how much I loved putting it on at night just to relax. I highly recommend giving it a listen in his memory.
Ooooo, I love Deep Breakfast so much. I'd recommend some Patrick O'Hearn. For more modern stuff maybe some Gaussian Curve, Emeralds, and Eyeliner.

Love seeing Konqi on there. What a cutie.
Thanks, this makes it so easy! You're the best.
Love Sync and am excited to get back on it. Unfortunately it's crashing on startup after logging in.
Gross. Doc Rivers voice is gonna make me mute every game he announces.

Wow that's a huge bummer.
Thank goodness the ref changed his mind.

Kbin has a couple good ones that I'm subscribed to. Kpop and Twice.

Prefab Sprout’s Steve McQueen is everything I could want in a “pop” album (as nebulous a term as that’s become): its production is super-pretty, its lyrics are literate and humorous without being condescending in the slightest, it’s fun to listen to, and there’s just something in the way lead singer and songwriter Paddy McAloon puts chords and melodies together that’s instantly gripping and gratifying.
I sort of wish I could leave it at that and let all you lucky readers decide for yourself exactly what kind of amazing album Steve McQueen is (or, if you’re going to be that way, whether or not it’s amazing, or even good, at all), but professionalism beckons: this album’s excellence is immediate in the beginning of opening track “Faron Young,” which, incidentally, doesn’t really sound like anything else off the album. The track starts with twanging country guitars and rollicking drums, which the band cleverly invert to service their gorgeous adaptation of ‘80s pop. This is an album th

Make sure you don't have an empty lemmy.ml instance in your accounts settings in Liftoff. This happened to me with lemmy.world which was apparently there by default. If there is one then long press it and remove it.

The Cold Gawd album was new to me and I bought it on a whim after hearing it play at a record store I love. It's an awesome album though and I recommend it to anyone who likes the heavier side of shoegaze.
I also highly recommend Alison Goldfrapp's solo album. Lots of dancey fun and will put you in a good mood.
The other 3 I've just been needing in my collection for a long time.
