Tech bros see business as building something cool then watching money poor in. I don’t think they can understand actual marketing—as in, knowing a market and what it needs.
AI is an expensive product with a small market. Unless they can charge huge amounts for it or expand the market, it’s a dead product.
It’s just a rumor. Besides having no reasonable use case, no LLM is close to being good enough for something like this to work. And, Siri is already behind.

Apple has been dragging their heels on AI from the start. They got sued by shareholders for not having enough AI in their products fast enough. Makes me wonder if they smelled the shit from the start and have been half-assing it on purpose.
Microsoft has been the opposite. If both of them shrug and say “I guess we’ll just have slightly better digital assistants”, the market might wake up and go “oh, shit.”
I think OpenAI and Anthropic could get bailed bought by MS/Apple/Google in a fire sale. Grok will just suck it or get propped up by Trump.
You need more of a plan than “I hate my job, I want to start a business.”
You don’t even say what kind of business. House painting? Landscaping? Financial consultancy? Church?
How would running the whole business be better than working for someone else? How would it be worse?
No money? There are some knowledge worker consultant-type businesses you might be able to start with no capital but you either need a bunch of money to sustain you through the early months/years or have another income.
Without a clear goal and plan you’re better off keeping your job and doing stuff on the side and see how that goes.
