Wauka wauka wauka wauka
In my experience, the only thing that rolling release does is change where/what the bugs are every few months instead of every few years.
GOG has always had support for Linux.
Do you mean the waste of disk space called GOG Galaxy?
In China, basically every enterprise uses a VPN to get uncensored internet when needed.
Yes. Depending on what you want.
Imagine comparing Edison to Einstein.
Why is Edison up there?

A lot of people became permanently mentally disabled.
He knows how to repeat sounds now! That's good.
That's a child size class (as in it holds the approxomate volume of a small child.)

How do I play the Dolby Vision releases (appear pink/purple and green
Sorry for my previous post. How do I play these releases on a Debian based system? I tried finding a converter but all results came up as either it not being possible, or they didn't work.

FFS can we stop it with this Atmos Vision BS
It doesn't provide anything tangible and nothing can play it back

I guess im the moderator of this community. Dont know how that happened.

The debian package repository has been down for several days now

The way Lemmy handles federation is absolutely horrendous
Seriously, why is nobody talking about this??
URLs are completely useless with each instance applying an opaque, incrementing integer to each post, which is of course different across instances. No way to tell what community it's in just by looking at it, nor any way to recover the content from another instance if the instance in the URL goes down.
Also, if a post is deleted, comments on that post cannot be viewed except on someone's profile.
Like who came up with this? Microsoft?

Migrating from Transmission to qBittorrent. I had 900TB uploaded over nearly four years!

I'm migrating because Transmission is horrible for a large amount of torrents (multiple of hundreds) due to the complete lack of concurrency capability. But I'll miss Transmission. This configuration has spanned many different operating systems and was migrated from transmission-gtk to transmission-daemon.
Translation of all the numbers:
Downloaded bytes: 64.4TB, 58.6 TiB
files added: 26.8 million.
seconds active: 3.84 years
session count: 802 times started
uploaded bytes: 909 TB, 827 TiB

Dropbox now requires login to download a shared file

On mobile, it prompts you to either "get the app" or "open app" with no way to click past. Screenshot won't upload.
This is worse from several months ago https://lemmy.today/post/8935690

What movie would you most like to watch for the first time again?
Mine would be Annihilation while very stoned.
