Ah, now that you mention it I see this in a lot of leftist circles. It's a shame that people can be so close, yet so far.
I can't speak for the subreddit, but I love the podcast and I'm definitely not a NATO enjoyer. I'm surprised that there are people that are who listen.
Also the fact that fascism != mass murder/death even if he was lol
Unrelated question, but how do both/either of you find "unbiased" information in English on the political environment within China. I have found it very difficult myself. (Assuming you don't speak Mandarin, that is.)

How did you learn linux?
Although its just another OS, linux does have a major learning curve for the common GUI enjoyer like me.
When you all were first learning linux, did you have a specific resource you learned from? Was it more like doing projects and learning on the way through forums?

Question about lemmygrad interaction with other instances
I've searched for this information for a while, but haven't seen anything on it anywhere.
I know that some instances are barred from communicating with others. I've also noticed that many leftist instances are anti "tankie" while lemmygrad is specifically for us, which is kind of concerning.
My question: Is lemmygrad banned from communicating with many other instances? Or any at all?
Yeah, the system kind of sucks in that sense cause its really hard for new people to even get the karma to participate in karma-locked subs in the first place. Hopefully, lemmy will soon be large enough that we don't have to use reddit anymore though.
