Fiber?
I just did a quick search for coffee nutrition facts, and all resources say 0g of fiber
Assuming you're using a paper filter, only water soluble particulates will end up in the coffee
And, water soluble fiber tends to be a thickening agent (porridge, Psyllium husk)
On what plane of existence is coffee a good source of fiber?
Proton / wine is modern day magic
Most Windows only steam games work out of the box (you do have to enable it in the right click menu > Compatibility options, per game)
Games that use Anti-cheat aren't likely to work (it depends on the Anti-cheat used and how it's configured)
ProtonDB is a good resource for checking if/which games work, or fixes and workarounds
You can use proton or wine on non steam games, but that requires additional setup that I'm not familiar with
The problem is not how to carve the frog into smaller bits
The problem is, how do i get my mind to stop looking at the entire frog
Pets are not children
They have completely different physical and psychological needs and wants, and they need to be respected as a member of their species
Speaking as someone who has 2 dogs, 3 cats, and no kids
They are my companions, and i am their caregiver. But they are not my children
Quality work will always need human craftsmanship
I'd wager that most revolutionary technologies are either those that expand human knowledge and understanding, and (to a lesser extent) those that increase replicability (like assembly lines)
Sometimes you forget to verify if your assumptions are true
I just have a spell checker enabled in vscode
So helpful for dynamic languages that can't detect undeclared variables (looking at you JS)
I was reading Crafting Interpreters. After adding function calls and stack frames, i tested my implementation with the Fibonacci script at the end of the chapter
I spent about 2 hours debugging my call stack, and even tested the script in Python
Only to realize that Fib(3) is indeed 2
I'm not sure that's their intended design. Old pull-tab cans actually had a ring for you to pull them off (similar to "easy open" soup cans of today)
I'd imagine that as the tab shrunk and changed from pull to a lever action, the "ring" was left as a vestigial design (as a form of skeuomorphism)
Bridge 4
That's the only reason i don't think this is real
It looks fine on Voyager
This is genius

- They are sturdier and require less delicate handling, lest you damage a paperback's cover, or accidentally bend some of the pages
- i always remove the paper graphic covers from HB so i just have the bare cardstock cover
- this is handy if you need to travel with it, say on vacation, or to / from school or work
- the spine is a lot sturdier and looser
- with PB, the spine is just the same paper material as the cover, and it forms creases as you read
- with PB, the spine is usually really tight, which makes it really hard to lay out the book flat
- with hardback, the spine is separate from the cover, which lets it flex more easily, and the material that binds the pages is generally more durable to flexing over time
I should probably note, i mostly read from e-ink tablets these days
But i still prefer HB over PB if i need / have a physical copy
If they've been blind since birth, then their brain might not be capable of processing this completely new stimulus fast enough
It'd be the equivalent of us being able to "see" magnetic flux using our nipples, for 30 seconds

Hardback is always worth the price
I run Arch, so docker was the easiest method of installation.
Rather than try and figure out how to install a .deb manually (and lose package manager perks)
Vscode and dotnet core (5+) work well on linux
You can also run SQL Server via docker
The market is cyclic with each boom and bust.
We're experiencing the beginnings of a bust.
Here's a good video on these topics
That said, coming the fruit denatures the proteins
Got any coconuts?

Overalls are far more comfortable than pants
The weight of the material is supported by your shoulders, and not your hips, which is far more comfortable in general
In addition to having more room for pockets, overalls can carry heavier things without falling down, nor need for a belt
Since the weight of the material is carried at the shoulders, bending down at the waist is easier and less restricted. The waistband no longer needs to be tight, since it no longer serves a functional purpose
