ESIM using silent.link = a phone line that can only be used to receive messages and calls no outbound calls allowed. However you need a phone with esim support.
Physical sim on another device: great but you need a seperate hardware and have something extra to carry and charge.
Physical sim on a dual sim phone. Easier to carry however it runs the battery faster and sometimes you can forget which sim you are on if you are quickly calling or texting.
Mains sim plus VoIP line example is mysudo- use one phone, seperate your communication between your actual number and an app with VoIP. Seperate phones # via software since VoIP is all on app side. Requires you have an internet connection to work properly. Not all services are happy using VoIP and stop you from registering or changing numbers to VoIP.
Lots to think about, best of luck.
I am excited about it, however I also was sad the original one wasn't finished. I'm also curious how they handle deploying it for obvious reasons. The one I loved watching over and over was watermelon island, threw me for a loop. Also I love the design of characters from that era.
It does also have third party repos such as sbopkg. This does a bunch of the movement for you when installing packages though you still need to manually install dependencies, BUT If you also add sboui which is a front end package resolution for dependencies then the process is much faster. I like the stability of Slackware, and also because its helps me get better for when I try the BSD since its very much like them as well.
Chillin' in My 30s After Getting Fired from the Demon King's Army is a good one to watch. Its sits in the middle between light hearted and has some sad moments but they are not dwelled on for too long.
[email protected]: Should I get a phone number through the US lifeline program to use on websites and businesses?
I would have suggested silent.link , while you can get a number not tied to your identity via esim, the main focus of numbers is a receiver for text and calls(also because it avoid people creating spam phone calls/txt). Which was originally for 2fa that only had cell # as an option. Also a number requires the user to be vigilant in paying their annual for it or they can lose the number. Also I think they can only cater for users in US, Canada and maybe UK.
What i love about this show is what happens after the story ends. Lots of story have this ending of epic quest, but i always wonder, does your happily ever after last forever? Thats when Frieren takes the direction to answer those questions. I love the approach, everyone loves conflict and major problems. Very few shows actaully go on to talk about what happens after "peace" in a more world view.
I watched this too a while back. Love the design and the performance of the characters on the show. Very surprised to here goku voice actor as MK, but i thought that was a genius move. One thing i epsecially liked was the antagonist, solid and a good story. The pacing was also great. It such an underated show. Im planning on buying the blue ray copy.
I dont blame em for going with that decision. Maintainer/devs are also wearing customer service/ PR and bookeeping hat on top of the things they build. Things cost money, especially time, call it greedy or not but people have to pay housing and food. Its tough and similar to a lot of industries, nobody cares until something goes wrong. All the best to this person 👍
This is one show i finished recently. Its increadibly well done. Story telling is great, character development is awesome. I have also watched FMAB, these 2 are completely different in that FMAB is a greater volume of development among many charcter, which isnt a fair comparison by the amount of seasons availalble compared to Frieren. Hopefully Frieren expands so that i can see how it ends, because that is my favorite part of FMAB, its got a great ending.
Currently on doctor Elise: the royal lady with the lamp. So far its better than average. I usually wait till the end to see what i rate it.
That one there is a really hard to watch. Its really good though, solid show.
I watched the one isekai with the vending machine. I have keep watching if it goes anywhere. Its 6/10, its interesting but not impactful in its storyline. Information was spitting out similar to doctor stone on the type of machines that exist in the world.
A good one that has some good storytelling was Grimgar, Aahes & Illusion. Talk about more realistic approach and pace for just 12 episodes.
Several things with this.

If you are in the US. Ask the college/university for taking walk ins for classes. They allow you to attend classes for free to check out if you want to be a student. Depending on the school there will be no limit. ( honestly tech fields are mostly certifications and experience; a degree with student loans not necessary)
Local library, ive found books for programing languages to check out, use the cities resources.
Conclusion
All these options mean nothing unless the person does it and applys. You need to accept that no matter how much you suggest/guide/offer , that at the end of the day the choice is theirs. Especially at an age that wants to figure things out on their own.
Best of luck.
I luckily remembered this link from a resource i stumbled across. There is a website called
It has several periferals and devices supported by linux that they sell.
One things for sure is that it involved minors, which means any kind of lawsuit would instantly involve the parents, who i cant see taking it well that their familys corpses were tampered with, regardless of what the individual girls/boy say. However as much as we can emulate our culture/laws, it is a show, yeah there are "doesnt make sense moments" which can be boiled down to, example, the policeman is vain and an idiot that he just doesnt process it. However thats why the inspector is brought into the mix to fill those missing pieces on their background. The lids gonna blow up, the question is when.
I have not watched this, but let me tell you my experience with watching re zero as it had the original, directors cuts and specials on crunchyroll. Which i watched all of em. If the show is overall good enough, every version has a little something extra to contribute to the experience.
Full metal alchemist was spedrun on brotherhood but really only the beginning. So i dont see it approached in the same manner, also because the world of both (fma and and wolf)are much too different. Maybe they will do it like fruits basket. Hopefully bring in the og cast(i havent read up on it to see this being true or not) and continue it like that. However the approach, its got enough attention to get the previous fans talking about it and new people interested in it. So whatever is being done, its at least working to some degree. Plus to the new crowds, its different in a sense to what has been told recently.
Morally speaking, your are right, initially he should not have done that. However the interactions of the zombie girls thoughout the series shows that it gave them an opportunity to deal with some of their initial unsolved problems. Im not saying this justifies them being brought back. Im saying its bad, they have done a lot of good both personally/professionally, and the future is unknown. I can see it going south for sure(as one possibility), here is the thing with making dicey choices, eventually you will have to face what comes with it.
Thata true, but you if used in a vm you should be careful as preset selections could end up removing functions on your guest vm.
It definitely makes you laugh once you see it.

This is one of the channels i used to get into slackware. His presentation was fantastic and very well done. It's sad to lose a person of this wealth of knowledge and I hope his family well during this difficult time. I hope they know how much help he was to the slackware/linux community.
slackware on my pinebook pro.
I had wanted to do this for a while, was using the default manjaro and its painfully obvious the slowdown caused by kde and sysyemd services. Tried it at first after getting my nvme adapter and failed. Later found out i needed a supported nvme a2000 by kingston 250Gb. Finally arrived this week and redid the download. After 2 reboots it worked.
Following the docs its got xcfe and the font it recommended. I got no sound at the time but will hopefully fix that once i do a few searches. But one thing that has improved is the speed thanks to the nvme and the ram usage.
Update 08/16/2023: wiki on pb pro for slackware says sounds ongoing on getting it working. I'll be trying somethings out (/lib/modprobe.d has some commenented sound options(need to read on these options) but in the meantime my bluetooth speaker is covering the sound portion of the use.
Update end of August- i decided to update the system and made the mistake of rebooting before adding the updated kernel to the bootloader.
Changing Workout Sets/Reps/Weight ?
What is your determining factor to increase your sets/reps ? How about with weights, how much would you change and does the sets/reps decrease to adjust to the new weight while gradually increasing ?
I was thinking others might share their approach to it.

ReactOS is a free, opensource reimplementation of windows
As much as i love linux and bsd there will be those that are still pro windows. However if, when the direction microsoft takes is running things in the cloud fully, then that will be a huge problem for those that want to stay in the windows ecosystem but run things locally. This project can definitley take care of those that do not wish linux/BSD and be able to run programs especially since a lot of mainstream programs are windows/mac only. I think wether its bsd/linux/react os. Open source defintley makes it easier to improve things long term.
Youtubers creating BSD content
Saw this and its so awesome seeing the BSD shine and improve. There is not a lot as linux but steadily i hope these are shared more and more.
Anyway here is one i recently saw uploaded 2d games are still a banger. Openbsd Gaming
Happy Birthday Slackware
30 years, keep it going slackware. I am awaitng the arrival of my nvm sata adapter to have this distro running as my daily on pine book pro.
My trail experience with online tutor
Im not familiar with what best way works with me so i figured i try the trial run.
The lessons consisted of communicating with someone from Japan on a one lesson a week for 4 weeks. Sessons was about 30 min.
-Lessons were mostly meet and greet -Learning how to say various forms of nouns in a formal manner.
Its definitley some great feedback to learn as you go with responses from the teacher one in one over a zoom call.
Mind you after classes i would go over the lessons on my own for about half hour a day. Consistency is pretty much the nature of the beast. I limited to 30 min because if i get to bored im not learning nothing.
Buying first bike
Hello all,
I am purchasing my first bike and as I don't have much knowledge of extensive maintenance & insurance I wanted to know what experiences you all had in this.
Im hoping to hit these checkmarks.
I was going to go for a honda but figured to ask others their experience as they were starting out and what they have learned. Under 500 cc I believe is a good starting point, I am not trying to launch into space but if you got a reason why that shouldn't matter let me know.
