  • I'm doing this on Xbox, works a treat. Not really sure how you can be killing anything and not gaining XP?

A real way to seriously farm some XP the fun way (killing aliens)

I've watched a lot of YouTube videos claiming to help gain fast XP, this is without doubt the best. I started out today as a 91, a few hours later I'm nearly 130.

  • BE STABLE! I am playing on Series S. It crashes at least once per day, very often 5+ times per day. It's the game, not the console (source: have many hours clocked in with other games and no such issues).

Love the game, getting so sick of it constantly freezing/crashing on me.

  • My building (East London) has been on service charge strike for over a year now. No resolution/end in sight.

    • It's a rip off, we get nothing for our money, despite constant increases.
    • They have no accountability and cannot produce financial statements that explain where the money is going.
    • They are completely useless.

Metropolitan Thames Valley - steer clear!

  • 30+1 (my company gives everyone an extra day in December for a "shopping day").

Plus, of course, paid sick leave, with no ridiculous limitations.

UK, working for a German company.

  • I cannot stand them, everything about it is just awful.

  • People are fickle and everything is relative... or something like that, maybe

Evolution of Dance (YouTube Most Watched, circa 2006)

Who remembers when this was the most watched video on YouTube?

"The clip received 70 million views in under 8 months. At that time, it was rated on YouTube as: #1 Most Viewed All Time Video on YouTube.com." - https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judson_Laipply

"He uploaded the dance to YouTube on April 6th, 2006." - https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/evolution-of-dance

Talk Talk - It's My Life (Live 1984)

    Classic.

Slightly younger (but still getting on a bit now 😉) readers may recognise the 2003 cover by No Doubt.

  • There is [email protected]

    Close enough?

    Edit: fixed link 😉

  • You hit the nail on the head. No high stakes, nothing is permanent, rules are arbitrary. It looks all nice and shiny, but it's just... emptiness.

  • I don't "care", I am discussing an opinion... that's what people do on places like Reddit Lemmy 🤨

  • Agree - it's like they had a lot of decent enough component parts (music included), but it was all strung together horribly.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is a fractured mess and easily the worst of the series

Finally got round to seeing Guardians 3.... What a waste of 2 1/2 hours that was. I enjoyed the first 2, but 3 was just terrible. The "story" is awful. Numerous, cheesy, cliché bits thrown together here and there. Nothing interesting or very cohesive. Nothing ever had a sense of consequence.

Even the soundtrack couldn't quite save it (though was easily the best part).

"Written and Directed by James Gunn".

Good luck DC, you're gonna need it.

  • I love the movie.

  • I got into AIC much later on, and Unplugged was my introduction. Nutshell, Rooster, Would? So many great songs, and such a beautiful performance all round.

    Super Shooter

  • Permanent.

  • Completely agree - I've watched/listened countless times. Peak MTV.

Pearl Jam - Alive (MTV Unplugged)

Yet another classic 90's bit of nostalgia from Pearl Jam.

The whole set is worth a watch if you're into it.

Nirvana - Where Did You Sleep Last Night (Live On MTV Unplugged)

Another classic MTV Unplugged performance. What can you say.

If you've somehow never managed to see the rest, the complete set is highly recommend watching/listening.

Alice In Chains - Rooster (From MTV Unplugged)

Incredible song, incredible (if sad, Layne) performance.

If you're into it, highly recommend checking out the whole set.

  • Sync doesn't still work for Reddit. That's the problem and is why Reddit is now dead to many of us.

  • Me too, instabuy. No question.

  • He just added an £18.99 one off charge to remove ads as well. Instabuy for me. Just brilliant.

  • It's like having Reddit back, this is amazing. 🙏

For as long as I can remember Reddit and Sync have been one and the same. I never used Reddit website or app, only ever used Sync to browse Reddit hosted content. I used it a lot. I've missed it a lot.

Between the Lemmy platform and Sync client, to all intents and purposes what Reddit was has been fully restored/migrated.

I know it's early days, but I did not expect to see anything like this so soon and it gives me hope that Lemmy can grow and thrive into the network of people that always made Reddit what it was. Everything that's needed is there - early, a little rough around the edges, but there. And being improved constantly.

    Hallelujah!
