  • Clearly some fuckery is going on with ticket sales. For the last few days you could look up any theatre showing the film and very few tickets were sold. I did this myself and chuckled how in very red cities, the 9pm show maybe had 10 tickets sold last night. The afternoon shows were a ghost town.

    But here it is being listed as doing 7 million so far.

    I assume they're doing the same thing they do to books. Buy up a shit ton of books and give them out for free.

    The truth will be known over the next few weeks because they won't keep buying tickets after this weekend.

    If sales are flat after tonight, it's all bullshit.
