  • I thought it looked like Rubio is jerking Bibi off

  • There's nothing to laugh about. The maniacally evil thing about recall is, that it doesn't matter what you do to keep your devices clean. If you interact with someone who doesn't keep his devices clean, which is 100% of us, you're on recall

  • And a music player probably doesn't need to be bleeding edge either. So it's pretty much a one off thing.

  • Qwant uses Bing search results AFAIK.

  • I don't know anything about HMD so I can't add to that. However I'd like to correct you regarding the headphone jack. The people that like it so much are generally privacy enthusiasts. Leaving your Bluetooth on makes you easily trackable. Using USB-C headphones helps in that regard but expediates wear and tear on the port by a lot and often makes the phone unusable a lot quicker, because you obviously need it for charging. Audio jacks generally have very low wear and tear. Hope that helps you understand we're not crazed evangilists hanging on to the past for the sake of it.

  • Is the BraX3 from braxtech.net a trustworthy investment?

  • I've gotten this advice a bajillion times. It's not the worst advice, but the Pixels just aren't very good. They lack basic hardware prerequisites like an sd card slot and audio jack (which the Brax3 would have).

  • Is the BraX3 from braxtech.net a trustworthy investment?

  • Show me a decent phone with SD card slot, replacable battery and a headphone jack I can install Graphene on and I'm set!

  • Is the BraX3 from braxtech.net a trustworthy investment?

  • One of the reasons I was excited for the Brax3 was the headphone jack. Pixels don't have them anymore

Is the BraX3 from braxtech.net a trustworthy investment?

While browsing through the privacy community, I read about the BraX3. A new privacy centric phone developed by YouTube content creator Robert Braxman.

Before I support their IndyGoGo, I'd like to get your opinions about the company and their last phone, the BraX2, which apparently didn't get the most glowing reviews.

  • You can already block all js and give specific allowances through uBO. Having both uBO and NoScript is redundant, just FYI

  • I'm all for it but it's in the cowdfunding stage. We'll have to see what becomes of it.

  • I'm pretty happy with them. Pricing is fair and their mission seems trustworthy. They have a decent cli client that I use to automate my backups with.

  • I played years ago but lost interest after I reached BR 100 on my NC char

  • "I don't think there is any European country that would arrest Netanyahu,"

Anyone not complying with the ICC arrest warrant not only deletigimitizes the ICC, but also makes themselves complicit in a genocide. This is literally criminal.

Why should I follow any laws anymore if my leadership takes a massive dump on the most important ones?

  • I agree with your point but you mentioned the services that are literally the hardest to find alternatives for. Need to use photoshop professionally, good luck getting around adobe. Sys admin only allows microsoft because he doesn't want to manage a bazillion different setups, get used to windows buddy. I could go on with examples...

Getting rid of those predatory megacorps is worth the fight, but it's a fight. And it's not getting easier just by calling it easy.
