There is a 3-2-1 tactic for backups, which should be pretty safe. Lots of articles if you search for it. Basically I backup all my data to two SSDs and one HDD. And once more to cloud, which is iCloud in my case.

I’m also not a fan of the redesign, but you can always voice activate/dismiss it? Which is perfect scenario for when your hands are dirty.

Maybe I missed something in the article and this option is not viable for the writer.

Could be, but also maybe isn't. AFAIK there is just single test, and that is just not enough data to make a conclusion.

I’m having a great time. Don’t really have much time to play, but I played for about 30h since early release. I really appreciate that I can fast travel everywhere, because if I don’t have much time, I can just instantly be wherever. If I want to take my time, I can just travel by ship. On the other hand, exploration on foot sucks, and I would really love to see some kind of vehicle to travel faster between points of interest.

But 9/10 from me as space game enthusiast.

that would be perfect, maybe a vehicle with scanner and some mining tool so you could analyse and collect few minerals along the way. would be great QOL improvement.

that's weird, if you hook the 3.5mm jack from controller to speaker, it should work fine. Worked for me in the past few times on lan parties

I'm not sure if monitors have HDMI-CEC, but this is at least one the way to control the sound from the xbox ui, works fine on my tv at least.

I appreciate that there both of these options, I can quickly travel through map, or I can take my time and jump there system by system.

Also, the great think about xbox is that you can stream it to your phone on your local network, so you can make yourself kind of an xbox handheld. I just use my old android padle that I have laying around, and bought myself razor kishi. Now whenever I have free time, and the tv is taken, I can just stream the xbox to the "handheld" and play in another room.

I had Xbox since 360 times, and I was always happy with it. Back then I also had a gaming PC. But as I grew older and now also have family, I just don’t have nor want to spend time on compatibility issues and upgrading hardware.

I also had PS 4 few years back to play The Last of us, Detroit became human and death stranding. It was good with these games, but I just like more Xbox because of its UI, console design and build, and game pass.

Game pass is great if you just happen to have some free time and want to just play some game. But it has AAA titles too, can’t wait next week for starfield.

Second this, I’ve built myself a silent office k7. It has low profile optical switches (less travel more silent), and bought a pack of their mint switches. They have higher resistance so that should help with the noise, I also lubed them. Coworkers don’t even know that I have mechanical board.
