  • I think the squids are the most compelling, they were a peaceful, enlightened society that tried to be friendly with humanity, Super Earth chose genocide in the first galactic war and almost completely exterminated them because they weren’t really prepared for war. The remnants are now back and have been twisted from a peaceful society to a society bent on revenge and who commit atrocities of their own.
