  • Same. It’s literal blatant propaganda for the 1% and younger me was taught that it’s the highest quality news magazine so I read it weekly. So glad I’m past that.

  • There’s a surprising number of very stubborn and slightly delusional (they’ve convinced themselves they’re doing good by staying on Xitter and “fighting”) leftists on there unfortunately.

I thought the Nazi salute would be the nail in the coffin but apparently those people can’t comprehend social media isn’t just a space like the person who owns it literally can control everything and easily manipulate you.

  • I use the voyager front end which lets me flare users. I believe you can also do this natively on the piefed default frontend (my instance is piefed). I’m not sure it’s possible on lemmy.

  • My flair on that account from presumably another thread is “neoliberal troll”

So I think it’s just bait.

  • I agree but think its also different depending on context.

Like if someone has thousands of contributions and their account is 6 months + old. Hell yeah I can judge them on the instance they use. Because they have had plenty of time and opportunity to learn and change.

A new user on the otherhand. I won’t.

I myself have both a defunct world and ML account from a long time ago when I first joined the threadiverse.

  • Those damn discuss.tchncs.de

    Always discussing technics from De…

    When will they Learn!

  • And No anti-imperialism without opposining imperialism no matter who it comes from. Not just one “side”.

  • Yeah exactly. They probably assumed barely anyone was watching anyways and then it blew up 😂

  • Now I know why they made you general of earth!

  • This happened on the Swiss state-run news service. Which has been biased pro-Israel.

So there was no chance of that happening.

I’m pleasantly surprised the commentator hasn’t been fired (yet)! It was also really amazing how they managed to stay calm and composed and just recite facts lol.

Also the swiss right wing media has gone on a frenzy calling it anti-semetic.

Reddit, Meta, and Google Voluntarily Gave DHS Info of Anti-ICE Users, Report Says

  • Yeah! It’s actually a proper bike lane not a paint line. Good to see.

  • I would just be careful with the state owned ones.

Sure BBC or RFL isn’t owned by corpos but owned by governments and that means they usually favour the narratives of those with power.

  • I doubt it Anna’s Archive has bountys for scraping like this on loads of stuff.

I believe they have a 1 million USD bounty for scraping google books.

  • Oh my god as someone with bowel problems due to disability the people walking to tap the doors in public toilets are like demons to me.

I’m like stressfully finishing up the most godawful diarrhea wiping and this person is hurrying me up lmao.

  • Yes now they do. But not terrorism.
