  • Mine hated magpies. First time we took him to my mothers house I heard some miaus smd found him on a rock in the middle of a little brook next to the house being mobbed by three magpies. And I had to rescue him. A little while later I saw the setup. One magpie was limping along being tracked by the cat. The second the cat jumped in the rock the other two immediately started mobbing him and the "wounded" would join in.

After that magpies were an arch enemy. A few years later I sat on my own porch, and this magpie was hopping around for probably 20-30 minutes when suddenly my fur missile came out if a bush next to the porch. He had bided his time and actually got both his paws all around the magpie who started pecking his head. Think he was as surprised as the magpie as he actually let it go. (To my relief as I think he would have lost an eye)

I saw that the magpies had learned and was more wary when they spotted him.

  • Norway has one of the worlds largest deposits of thorium, but I have ot heard that we had a working reactor, just the principle of one.

If the chinese has indeed made it work I think we need to prepare for USA wanting to annex Norway as well

  • I had the exact same experience. My son became cyanotic since his breathing was so shallow, and then he passed out. For a second I thought he died there and then. Quickly came too. And the ambulance took a wrong turn. Rember running after it. Man, had I had that motivation when young and fit I would have beat Usain Bolt

  • Rest of the world: WTF! Hell no!

Australia: Awww, that's just a small browniewompy. They only attack mindlessly anything in immediate vicinity. That's harmless, they only melt your blood veins unless you get antidote within 2.5 seconds.

  • Looking at my shelf of mostly unplayed games, many still in shrinkwrap and the rest with the counters not punched out I seem to favour eurogames.

Last American made game I got was the Battletech Mercenaries kicksstarter. But guess what! Still got Clan Invasion mostly unplayed weird flex

First Printing of the Tactical Operations books still viable to use?

In Norway are not blessed with many gamestores that actually carry BT stuff. Since we are not in the customs union ordering from other countries can often increase the price by quite a lot since we have to pay VAT on shipping and charge for custom clearance.

See that one local store have the Tactical Operation Books (Advanced Rules and Advanced units and equipment) but the image on the store are the fourth (Rules) and first printing (units). I am going there this sunday to see for myself, but are first printings still usable. See that the current ones are sixt printing for both.
