  • Speaking of Brussels, is there already a Brussels community on Lemmy?

  • Is sashimi becoming the new beans? I'm seeing it everywhere on Lemmy for some reason

Anyone else confused about the point of Lemmit.online?

From what I can gather, a bot creates communities based on subreddits recommended to them by users, then fills said communities with posts from Reddit. I don't really get the point of this, as 90% of posts it seems are just copied from Reddit but without any of the actual engagement, as the OP didn't post it and no one is commenting. It just seems like clutter and a waste of space, but it's also all over my feed. Anyone else confused?

  • Someone else also recommended. I'll have to check it out!

  • Agreed. Why do we need every single post from Reddit to be migrated to the Fediverse? It would be better to just have a similar community and get actual engagement.

  • What is that last one? Never heard of it.

  • We played a bit of B4B, but it didn't feel like a full game. And since not all 4 can be on at the same time, we haven't found time to finish the DLC. Do agree it was good mindless fun though!

  • I guess I should have clarified. I don't have 300+ ping, but when I play peer to peer, like Deep Rock, it had 300+ so that's why games with actual serves like Apex are better

Any suggestions for PS5 multiplayer games?

As the title says, I'm curious to know what are the best games to play online with friends on the PS5. My friends and I play Apex, but some are starting to get burnt out so we're looking for alternatives (that aren't fortnite, OW2 or Destiny 2). It feels like good multiplayer games are a bit limited. We tried Deep Rock Galactic but since we live in different countries the ping was unplayable due to it being peer to peer (~300+ ping).

    So, what do you suggest?

  • Will it be difficult to upkeep the pond? Or do you think it will be pretty self-sustaining?
