Like you, I am a living person with memories, emotions, and interests. But from your perspective, I'm just another picture on a screen. Isn't that concerning?

thanks, I was confused.

I don't get it

English, Spanish, russian

I still use a dumb TV, and I will for as long as possible. I'll never buy a new TV ever again. only used from Facebook. most stuff I only watch on my computer anyways.

kissu.moe is where most of the original qa migrated to, aka the people who were there before it started to become a raiding board. it even has its own version of qa there now which is really nice and they have drawing threads and talk about anime and stuff.

4chan doesn't have accounts. you can just put whatever name you want to in the name field if you so choose. people knew about this and have been posting with his name and trip code for a while. not discrediting that any of them could be him though, a lot most likely are.

its a website referred to as the party, but im not saying the actual name due to the fact that it regularly gets spammed with csam and other violent things of the nature, its really a lawless land and its hosted in russia. its not hard to find if you look on twitter or something. even as someone who went on qa before, i have never wanted to step foot there, its not the same.

qa was my favourite 4chan board probably ever. it was a random board like /b/, but strictly SFW. so, they were the creatives of the site. the soyjak memes you see everywhere started there. they got into fights with other boards but it came to a boiling point when they raided 4chans LGBT board, and as a result qa was closed. they moved to another website. that website, or rather one of its users, then spent about a year navigating the very outdated freebsd from a decade ago running on 4chans servers until he was able to access the PHP admin panel, re-open /qa/, and then nuke all files on the server except the homepage. which itself now seems to return an SQL error.

my wall looks like this but with posters. no lewd ones though, I don't like gooner stuff.

funniest comment section of all time. my country truly will never change for the better.

this right here. I had to switch back to windows as just too much software I needed to use doesn't work on Linux wine or proton be damned. so I just use 21H2 until either Linux support becomes more mainstream or until the less likely option of Microsoft un-enshittifying. (LOL)

good

soon as you said soulslike I knew it would be cowboy before I clicked the article lol.

I don't get it

fucking thank goodness

my second monitor says 2009 on the back. still use it. like it more than my main 2016 one which is itself about to turn a decade old.

asrock is a pc parts manufacturer. used to see them a lot but in recent years not so much. I like their motherboards.

I did. even after the last frame I was just thinking the fuck? then I realized what they were.
Hello.

dang, can't believe it's already hitting 2 years since the API fiasco. feels like it's been no time at all.

Decided to put my phone on do not disturb and go see some nature on this Friday morning.

9 years later, I finally played fallout 4
Having dropped New Vegas in the past due to lost interest, I decided to try this game out finally since a friend of mine was having a fallout 3 playthrough himself. It was it 8 bucks, so I figured why not. I have to say, I put way more hours into this game than both other Bethesda games I've played through (Skyrim and Oblivion) before even finishing the main quest line. The combat was excellent in my opinion, and I (seem to be in the minority of people who) really liked the story. The choices it forces you to make sometimes really had me feeling emotional at times. I also played it with some minor mods installed, just some custom outfits and real world guns for immersion. Nothing to break the story or anything, though there are a few DLC sized mods I'm eyeing up to play in the future. Overall I seriously enjoyed this game, I've noticed online it seems to be regarded as one of the least popular mainline games but I think it's become my favourite Bethesda game I've tried so far honestly.

Apple Warns Users in 92 Countries About 'Mercenary Spyware' Threat
Worth noting: the warning originally had a direct mention that the attack was from a surveilling government, but they removed that part after being asked.

Offline alternatives to Roku / Streaming boxes
Hopefully this is the right kind of question for this community, my apologies if not.
I'm looking for some sort of device that will let me load my own media from a USB / SD card, and play it to my TV. Does such a device exist? Some sort of remote controlled box that can just load mp4 / mkv files from locally hosted storage? I have been using my PC over HDMI but it can get annoying having an awkward room layout because my computer always has to be next to the TV to do this.
