The Canucks have been in the news for all the wrong reasons over the l...

I was extremely worried we were sending Hog or one of our top prospects. We sent 2 low end prospects that probably would never see nhl ice. Frees up 5.5 for next year which is great.
Resigning petey and hronek should be top priority for management. If we can get lindholm to sign to that'd be great. Or if petey doesn't want to sign, we have a decent replacement in lindholm and can trade petey for a haul. But I hope that's not the case.
I think this move really shows petey that we want to compete.
Definitely gonna be fun to watch them in the playoffs.
It's tough, but honest work.
I just wanted a successor to black & white God damnit. What a letdown it turned out to be.
GDT: Canucks (13-5-1) @ Avalanche (11-6-0) 7PM Pacific
Gonna be a good game. Boys have to keep their momentum going and come in strong, Avalanche isn't gonna let us walk away with an easy one. Another thing to note is that Makar is sitting at 27pts, and with 3 games to go until the 20 game mark, could be joining our captain with the other elite defensive company 30pt in 20. Would be nice if we could spoil that a little and keep him off the score sheet. ;)
Oh man, totally forgot about this.
I'll just never visit the US again.
So they give out traffic tickets I'd never have to pay if I never visit there again?
They go hand in hand. :)
Signing Patrick Kane would kickstart the riot early. ;)
Beating the Leafs is the big one. Hate those guys.
Stanchies: Canucks top Senators 5-2
The Canucks have been in the news for all the wrong reasons over the l...
Wasn't as good of a game as previous ones, but they still pulled out a win.
Dude never posted again. One of those things that'll be immortalized in the Canucks fan base. Just like "Burrows? Do we really need him?"
Made for some good watching when Pettersson started tearing it up. Or that one post from Reddit of that dude saying Pettersson didn't have the xfactor, and he was personal friends with scouts etc etc.
Where would the Canucks be without Elias Pettersson? To most hockey...
Benning was always praised for his drafting, and wanting Pettersson as his guy, but according to Linden, he would've picked someone else. Think Benning would've preferred Glass? Vilardi? Those were the names heard around then by most. No way we would've been happy with anyone taken after Pettersson.
Yeah kind of seemed like the way the Canucks players were pushing in on him that maybe it could be argued his leg was being kicked involuntarily, but there wasn't a really clear shot of what was happening behind him.
Canucks Muscle 6-2 Win Over Edmonton For Franchise Record Start
They say things come in threes, and not just because there’s three stars for every NHL game. Pius Suter has had one goal in each of the last three games, the Canucks battled back against a tough Edmonton team to score three goals in the first period, and they have
Boys are on fire. They're playing with lots of confidence. I love it. Those black skate jerseys look so damn good too.
He just looks so angry and defeated. Guess this is what happens when reality comes crashing down and you need more than 2 players to win a game.
About a minute into the 3rd there was a big scramble around the net and video review showed edmonton kicked it in. Was tough to say though. Couldve gone either way.
Right? Every line is working hard out there. I'm loving how the team looks this year.
Haha well I'm not gonna disagree with you there.
GDT: Canucks (8-2-1) vs. Oilers (2-7-1) 6 Nov 2023 7PM PST
Canucks looking to keep their streak alive, Oilers looking to improve their record. Hopefully the Canucks come out and play hard because I'm sure the Oilers are frustrated and want a win.
Finished my first playthrough and entered ng+. Currently playing Phantom Liberty now before I got sucked into another 100 hours of Starfield.
Yeah it was the first time I managed to catch the game and be able to watch the intermission panel and I was wondering where Bieksa was. Missed the part where they said he was doing an interview. I didn't mine Bisonette but I love listening to Bieksa. Dude is definitely the best part of that crew. They better keep him around for a long time.
Before the game started, the Dallas Stars' broadcast team was talking...
I haven't been paying much attention to the sportsnet panel. Did they get rid of Bieksa and replace him with Bissonette?
Canucks beat Dallas 2 - 0, Demko earns 5th career shutout
Goals from both Suter and Pettersson. Great game from the team, good seeing Demko get the shutout after losing it against the Sharks.
Rumour: Canucks looking to bolster defense through trade, still interested in Bear
Our defense could definitely use some depth. I liked Bear last year and it'd be nice to bring him back on a cheap deal.
Brock Boeser scores pair as Vancouver Canucks pound San Jose 10-1, handing Sharks worst home loss in franchise history
Canucks scored as many goals this game than Sharks have all season. Poor Sharks. Honestly didn't know what to expect this game, usually Canucks are quick to hand bad teams their first win, or break their losing streak. Refreshing to see them come out hard and not let up. 7 - 2 - 1 through 10 so far.
Canucks beat Nashville 5 - 2, Pettersson hattrick
After a sluggish start and error-prone first period, the Canucks found their way through a clogged neutral zone
Canucks get outplayed and lose to Flyers despite Thatcher Demko’s best effort

Canucks lose first of season in 2-0 loss.
The Vancouver Canucks did just enough to keep the Edmonton tide at bay in their matchup on Saturday night. Read our analysis.
Canucks start season 2 - 0 for the first time in 7 years.
Boeser Scores Four Goals To Lead Canucks Over Oilers 8-1
12 of Vancouver's players made the scoresheet in the home opener
Now that's a solid first game of the season. Way to go boys.
Preseason GDT: Canucks @ Oilers Sept27
Hopefully the game tonight goes better than last. Still expecting a lot of fringe AHL players, they didn't make a whole lot of cuts after last game.
Preseason GDT: Canucks @ Flames Sept24
Do we do these here? Is there enough people that check in?
Canucks trade Tanner Pearson to Montreal Canadiens
Canucks GM Patrik Allvin has sent the 31-year-old winger and a third-round pick to the Montreal Canadiens in exchange for backup goalie Casey DeSmith.
Cole McWard leads Canucks to 5-2 win over Oilers
Aidan McDonough, Aatu Räty, and Cole McWard were the Vancouver Canucks top three players in their final Young Stars game.
Canucks Fall To Jets 3-2 In Shootout At Young Stars
Arshdeep Bains and Aidan McDonough each scored power-play goals in the loss
Struggling mentally and emotionally for most of the last two seasons, Brock Boeser said he feels better than he has in years. Now, he just needs his physical health to match his mental well-being.
Really hoping he has a good season this year. It can be tough getting over the loss of such an important family member like a parent, and it's completely understandable that he would blame hockey for missing time with his dad. Looking forward to seeing how he moves forward this year.
Prospect: Lekkerimaki starts pre-season strong in Sweden
