We need to stop using language like "deported" in these cases.
That man was kidnapped and put into an out-of-country concentration camp.
This is blatant Nazism. Let's call a spade a spade.
'Scheme' has that connotation in the US, yeah.
I know publications outside the US use it in a much more neutral manner, but it's funny to us.
If you haven't played it, Windblown is a good time. It feels very much like a top-down Dead Cells.
So many furries
I'd know, I'm one of them
It will happen eventually
It... Literally credits XKCD in the bottom corner
A path and a road are similar, yes. However, an impasse is something that is not passable, which is why the original commenter was confused.
Also, the word impasse is more frequently used as a metaphor than its literal definition. Something like "The arguing couple was at an impasse, neither budging in their position."
I also did this while trying to turn the volume up with the phone in my pocket years ago
Admins can enable it in the Teams portal, if that happens, it becomes visible to users
Otherwise the option is hidden
Same - it's pretty fun on a guitar controller if you have one!
Actual Nazi Nick Fuentes is on video saying "that is a genuine, bonafide Roman Salute" (paraphrasing)
Saw that on The Humanist Report's coverage of it today, who, jokingly, tried giving Musk as much "benefit of the doubt" or "leeway" as he could, while citing sources like Fuentes.
Musk is a card carrying Nazi, same as the rest.
Bleh.
This is awful.
Second ABB
It's great for most of the stuff I read
Happy to help! I've been involved in the Cosmere fandom for... Way too long now.
Lift is pretty divisive, so I don't blame you. She's supposed to be the main character for book 6. Hopefully she matures a bit during the time jump after book 5 (promise this isn't a spoiler, it's been planned this way since the beginning) because otherwise 1k+ pages of her is gonna be grating.
Again not spoiling, but her flashbacks could be interesting, ie: visiting the nightwatcher, stuff with her mom, etc.
Dawnshard is definitely the better of the Stormlight novellas. It's a fun sailing adventure about Rysn. Definitely pick it up after OB.
Warbreaker is more political intrigue heavy than other Sanderson books. It's mainly about two sister princesses, Siri and Vivenna. They find their destinies switched at the stroke of a pen. Colorful chaos ensues.
It's a good read and pretty self-contained, but he's said he wants to do sequels for it eventually (read: it's been on the back-burner for almost 20 years. He's just now getting to the Elantris sequels that he also promised...)
The biggest crossover to Stormlight is that it contains the origin of a particular sword.
It's also available for free on his website.
There are absolutely some slower sections of book 3 - namely a trek through a certain ocean
I promise it picks up through the end of OB and the beginning of RoW
Also, you should check out his other Cosmere entries. There's some significant crossover as it's a shared universe, especially with Warbreaker and Mistborn.
If you check out the State of the Sanderson, it should be around 2031 or 32
Not quite 10yr away
But he's been ambitious with his timelines in the past
No idea, hence my "probably not"
A deal with Microsoft, maybe?
Storage is cheap, windows licensing is expensive, maybe Lenovo is trying to add value for the people who want to stick to Windows
Probably not, though. Hopefully it's repairable/upgradable.

So in d&d, the smaller dice get associated with different weapons, and classes by extension, so, typically:
D4: daggers/fists > Rogue/Monk
D6: fireballs > Wizards/Sorcerers
D8: longsword > Fighter
D10: longbow > Ranger
D12: battle-axe > Barbarian
D20: everything
Use this how you will, I'm not super knowledgeable about Western Esoteric Mystery Traditions but I hope this helps!
Looking back on it that show was
Hmmm.

Started IF again after a few years off, already 10lb down!
I saw the lack of content here and thought I'd share my story
I first discovered IF back in Dec 2018, and did it all the way through the start of 2020. I (5'6") went from 240lb down to 195.
Then well, that thing we all went through in 2020 happened and I eventually stopped. It was also a hugely transitory period in my life and I let my weight come back on. (I moved out of the house, in with my now wife, changed jobs twice, moved again... All in the midst of the pandemic and its related insanity)
Now I'm in a much better spot, but I've put everything I lost back on and more.
That said, I've now gone from 250 to 240. Trying to eat lighter, snack less, and be intentional about my macros. I like sticking to a 16:8 window, but I shorten it if it makes sense on a given day.
I remember the community being a huge motivator, so, Good luck out there!

Someone ported Infinity Blade 1 to PC (And it's playable on Steam Deck!)
I've missed this series for a long time, and I'll never forgive Epic for dropping it like a baby giraffe.
It plays pretty well on my gaming rig, but I'd love to hear about how it plays on lower-end systems. Maybe I'll install it on my 2-in-1 so I can use the touch screen.
