  • Work usually sucks, but that doesn't mean a leader should treat their team like shit. Too many managers don't understand that when they treat their team well, respect them, and advocate for their rights as workers, they're elevating everyone including themselves. Companies can still record tremendous profits and also treat people better.

  • The headline is very shameless clickbait. Headline should read: Majority of used cars 3yrs old or younger are selling for >$20,000.

    Economic reporting suffers from many of the same issues that scientific reporting does in that the headlines are a general idea of the research, blown out of proportion at best, and misleading at worst.

  • I'm originally from Mississippi. Most people who call it the war of Northern Aggression vehemently swear either the North fired first or that it's completely unknown who shot first.

    History and much of education is taught with a different perspective in the there, within the scope of extreme conservatism and evangelical Christianity. Much of Mississippi's history in the US was heavily embellished in my history courses and I know many who had similar experiences.
