  • I'm from there. Many people there genuinely believe Mississippi is a better, safer State than most others in the country. And they absolutely believe Trump is saving the US from the liberals.

I cannot stress that enough, they actually believe progressives have been ruining the country since the 90s and that conservatives have been trying to save it.

  • If I was lucky enough to be so accurate to fall past an event horizon, I'd love it. But I'd also worry my perception of time would change such that my death would feel infinite. I would be equally excited and terrified

  • You're literally gatekeeping men with long hair lol.

  • This canon is always depressing

  • It's obvious, not sure what the other person is talking about. Literally the same mentality that if someone is innocent, they should comply with everything and hide nothing, no matter how unreasonable. That's not right, we should be holding those in positions of authority to a higher standard than those who are not.

  • You ever try to use an Inkjet underwater?

  • In this fight, everyone loses. We just need to come out on top

  • Those numbers are for FOMO, one pack and I'm set for life

  • That's the problem, though. For years I tried to understand, and for years I watched as they didn't do that. Instead, I watched as conservatives fought every bit of progressive legislation. I heard all the arguments that the Left was becoming more radical, but I saw the Left increasingly fail to enact progressive legislation as conservatives were successfully combating years-old policies. And conservatives have been doing this long, long before I even came around.

I tried to understand their economic and social justifications behind their arguments, but none of them were representative of the US they taught me about. So I'm done trying. I started giving up in 2012, and I should have given up 12 years before that. If more people had quit trying to appeal to conservatives sooner, maybe we wouldn't be dealing with this.

  • Why should we tolerate the intolerant? It's been over 10yrs, and it's only gotten worse with each year. That's how we got in this mess, and it's obvious humanity's entire history of compromising with fascists and proto-fascists only allowed for the civil rights of the time to be eroded, or their progress impeded.

A Trump supporter today is still a Trump supporter. Only when they stop supporting Trump and actually prove they're trying to change their ideology will I stop ridiculing these people.

  • Let the kids see us punch Nazis. I want as many kids as is possible to see me punching Nazis. Kids everywhere need to learn that Nazis and any form of fascism need to be dealt with appropriately. Teach your kids right, violence is the only answer to growing fascism.

  • I don't want to appease anyone who's "moderate." The US is right enough as it is. Especially now, if the US wants to recover from Trump, it needs to make a very aggressive and swift push to the left.

  • That was around the time the campaign's approval peaked too, if I remember right. People liked when Walz called Republicans out and actually stated the obvious, but the DNC leadership decided after 2000 that they don't give a shit about what Democratic voters want; the DNC was already handing the country to Trump again long before Biden even dropped out.

  • We would hope not many people are, right? I feel like there are a lot more than we realize, unfortunately.
