Sorry
Story time: The first time I heard this song was getting out of US Navy boot camp. I walked into my barracks room, and my bunkmate was drunk and knew I was fresh out of boot camp and the same age as him (older compared to who you would think would join the military). The first sound I heard was this song when I walked in. He is deadpan and blanked-face when he casually turns to look at me and asks while pointing at the screen, "You know anything about this song?" I responded with "No, but I'm always happy to learn new things." Guy was my drinking buddy for over 2 years.
I feel ya. I always thought that there's bands that are always better in studio than concert. And bands better in concert than studio. For example, GWAR is amazing in concert, but I can't stand most of their songs on album. But on the opposite side, As I Lay Dying needed to be on album to be good.
That is also not an opinion on Tim. My opinion is I will no longer listen to AILD music
I'm doing a callout to people who ever spent time in the RP chat called The Keep
There's a url to the site and I enjoyed it a lot as a kid. I'm looking for two people specifically. One character's name was simply "Sakura". The other's name is simply "Mundus". The name I used was "Rieve". Can anyone who can help me find Sakura or Mundus?
http://nexxuschat.com/ (the site is unsecure now, so look at your own discretion)
You have it backwards. Greed is the root of our capitalism epidemic. And you think communist leaders are immune to greed? Just look at NK. The people share what little scraps there are while government officials live very easy lives
They unfortunately are not a bot. Just a serious tankie that thinks people care
If you shit your pants, do you keep going with your day or is your day over?
Have you considered remotely?
I get these all the time. Like i don't think an official office is going to use pancake emojis in their messages lol. Let alone text you
Honest question. Why does there need to be a line between normal gaming and queer gaming?

"Federated services, otherwise known as 'the fediverse,' have been hailed as a network for public communication, dialogue and debate, where ordinary people, not corporations, shape their social spaces, and where advertisers, hate speech and intrusive algorithms are much easier to avoid."
Haha. Bullshit
It's all trash redditor implants who think they're opinions are absolute and make the fediverse politically, individualized, and nonsensical garbage. First time I logged in and contributing to the fediverse in about a month, and of course, I see this that makes me immediately pissy.
Yes. More people that get offended at the words "rape" and "kill" are exactly what the fediverse need. This is total pandering for the sake of members and publicity. And no one needs to worry. I'm gradually working away from this platform because unfortuantely most people here just want to virtue signal or trauma dump to either make themselves feel better or feign ignorance that they're talking to another person just so they can can feel better about their sorry lives by tearing down this person or group on the internet.
Nope. I feel that's a trap. IMO you have zero interest in what I believe. You just want me to give you something so you can turn it around on me. I don't know what part of my post led you to believe that I trust people with my beliefs and opinions on Lemmy, but you aren't (a corny word) worthy of my opinion or feelings. Make your assumptions, but you don't effect my life ✌️
Lol. No. I expect everyone to be respectful and willing to discuss differences. Not bully people into thinking different like what you're trying to do now
No I didn't. You perceived that. So... example
Not from the Midwest, but I wasn't aware there was a stereotype for midwesterners, in a very slight way, you proved my point be discriminating
And you call them fascist, so i see where your view lies. You're still proving my point
Noped. You already proved you have no interest in a discussion of opposing views. So you are still proving my point
Yeah? What's that?
Jean Chrétien, who was Canada’s prime minister from 1993 to 2003, joined a chorus of officials who say Trump's remarks are no longer a joke and may undermine America’s closest ally.
Does that phrase mean the same as "Give your balls a tug"?
