  • On the other hand, algae do not produce shade, not sure if it filters atmospheric pollutants, and trees provide all sort of other services to the local ecosystem.

Maybe this invention can be used on places where trees cannot lives, but I'd still take a city with trees over a city full of green tanks.

  • Too bad I can't pin your comment on Lemmy. I would have if I could.

  • I'd prefer MS SQL over Oracle SQL any day. And PG SQL over both of them.

  • Cassette Beasts is great. So great I got the OST on both Vinyl... And cassette tape, of course 😆.

Never tried Wandersong, gonna have to add it to my playlist.

  • But prepare to cry 🥲.

  • Greate game, but I wouldn't call it girly at all. 😂

Sure, the main protagonist is a girl, but the story is dark 😅.

  • Will be added, along others, when I finish rewriting the sidebar.

  • But not recycled. Save the planet, recycle a joke!

  • Well, all of their game would fit to be honest 😆. Journey, Flow, even Sky if you are into cute social MMOish game.

  • In the same kind of game you got "Coffee Talk" (and its sequel), which works way better with a controller than VA-11 Hall-A does.

Unfortunately the story author died, which is a shame.

  • They said "focus on PC", not "focus on Windows".

  • That's the kind of move I like to see.

I worked on a fork of another Open-Sourced MMO (forked from Ryzom Online). Lot of nice idea (like spell crafting, among other), but the tech stack and system was so old it was more a pain than anything. You couldn't even jump in that games 😂.

  • Remaster -> Take same assets, enhance it (better textures, better shaders, etc.), add some QoL fixes (new hardware support, etc.), but the base (and most of the time the engine) stays the same. Remake -> Take same idea, redo it (new models, new technologies, etc.). May or may not have an engine change
Reboot -> Take same base, new ideas, and redo it (new models, new technologies, etc.). May or may not have an engine change

    Edit :
A remaster example : Titan Quest Anniversary Edition -> Same game, remastered textures, add large screen support, among others.
A remake example : Oblivion Remastered (ironic name) -> New engine, new textures and models, but with globally the same idea.
A reboot example : DmC: Devil May Cry (the 2013 game)

  • Maybe on [email protected]. Being about a game universe doesn't automatically make it about games (rule 1), nor does it allows it to ignore rule 4.

  • His last post on the community was 18 days ago. Can hardly be called spam.
I did not check the content of the video yet, but seem to be game related.

So tell me, why should I remove it ?

  • Unfortunately people needs to eat, to pay rent, etc.

When your only choice is to work for a shady company, you can't be chooser.

  • As a fellow TrueNAS user, i'd advice you to wait a little bit, especially if you already have a working deployment.
The action runner isn't yet available, and there is still some bugs to iron out (wrong password used for the database, you have to manually correct it on first init).

    October 23, 2024. Hello Everyone!

Our last update saw players enjoying a nice chilled time, fishing in No Man’s Sky. Our next update couldn’t be more different! As we approach Halloween, we are embracing the spookier side of the No Man’s Sky Universe, drawing upon threads first established way back in Atlas Rises, when ancient portals began to open and the boundaries between realities first began to crumble…

Today, we are announcing expedition sixteen: The Cursed – where players will fight to keep a grip on reality while haunted by visions and voices from another dimension.

The Cursed takes place in a sort of twilight realm, straddling the boundary between one reality and the next.
