  • Apparently, they were already planning to roll it back before Dermott used the tape. I know how unlikely that sounds but I heard Scotia Bank didn't like the decision and put pressure on the league. I can easily believe the NHL caved to pressure from big money.

  • I've never considered using discord as a replacement for Reddit or Lemmy. I use it all the time but for communicating with people I know or have something in common with in different social circles. You're not wrong but for me it's like saying pillows suck because they don't bang in nails properly.
