YSK: When making posts on Lemmy/Kbin always put at the end some hashtags related to your post topic.
@CeruleanRuin Is nice to see someone that's open to the idea of connecting more communities without the need of extra accounts.

@Chozo @youshouldknow @ono Dude, a piece of advice.
Stop discussing with him. That dude is clearly stubborn.
He's clearly the kind of person that can have progress in front of him, but he prefers to have what already is used to.
If something that I've learnt is to stop a discussion with someone that's clearly an idiot.
Sorry for the offense, but he made clear that he's not open minded. Which is ironic for an user of a progressive platform like the fediverse.
YSK: When making posts on Lemmy/Kbin always put at the end some hashtags related to your post topic.
@Chozo @youshouldknow @ono Again, thanks!
Looks like here you're the only one that understands how the fediverse works.
Everyone is like a butthurt about it. They don't get that more shared information means more people that has access to it.

@Chozo @youshouldknow @ono Finally someone gets it!!!
Hashtags in Mastodon is what allows discoverability to posts. So if you wanna make your posts indexable you'll need them.
Mastodon doesn't index by words, just only by hashtags.
So if you make a post about cats, but you don't add the hashtag "cats" your post is like it wasn't post at all. No one can see it, besides yourself and your followers. Also I don't get why people all it spam, if it goes at the end. Easy to ignore.
@ImplyingImplications @Killjoy Mastodon "see" Lemmy communities as a group. There's a feature here that allow users to create groups with other users.
This is how "No Stupid Questions" looks on Mastodon: https://mastodon.ie/@[email protected]

So users from Mastodon and Pixelfed can interact with your post without even need to use their Lemmy/Kbin account or learn about "how to use the ActivityPub".
This also helps to have more content avaliable across the Fediverse due to better discoverability.

@zencat I have Thalassophobia, so for me there's no better regulation than that.
@Undearius @deweydecibel Nice! Now you have created an #Inception kind of post.
Piece of advice boys. When you make posts on Lemmy/Kbin put at the end of it some #hashtags related to the post's topic. So it can be indexable for Mastodon and Pixelfed users.
I as a Mastodon user can see posts from Pixelfed users due to their diligence of using hashtags.
This is something easy that can improve post discoverability and also you'll get more user interaction.
@deweydecibel @Sekoia Yes, I got your reply without @ me. ActivityPub works in mysterious ways.
For example: I can create new posts on Lemmy/Kbin, but those posts can be only text. I still haven't figured out how to post images.
@afraidofzombies @Clbull OP is a Hollywood executive that's out of ideas for new films.
@Atemu This is why, for me, Firefox is unreplaceable on Android. Just the fact that's not Chromium + also supports extensions is what makes it superior.
I wish that it'll come pre-installed in phones instead of Chrome, so more people can give it a try. But is Android and Google would never allow that.
@explodes Looks like this year every company is committing corporate suicide.
Let the Hunger Games begin!!!
@1chemistdown @reddig33 In my case I'm safe, for now, the merger isn't coming to latin america until October. So I still have time to watch some TV series and movies before the real shit show begins.
After October 1st. I'm canceling HBO and probably saving to money to spending it in games. Also I'm not going to lie Humble Choice subscription looks really tempting to me. I pay for the games, I keep the games on my account even if I cancel it (the subscription).
@reddig33 For me Netflix was good until 2015 after that they started to cancel TV series with 2 or 3 seasons without a proper story closing. Then I moved to Prime Video which was good until 2021 when they canceled Bosch just to move its sequel to Freevee (free version of Prime Video with ads).
Then again I moved to HBO, which has been nice (in terms of high quality content delivery) if it weren't for the HBO+Discovery merger. Which brings high "quality" content like the Kardashians.

@WonkoTheSane @UrLogicFails Sadly regulators won't do anything.
Microsoft like Google, Apple, Facebook and many more American companies have been buying American politicians left and right.
Sorry my fault. Isn't "buying" is called "lobbying". What a way to decorate reality!!!
@UrLogicFails As a PC gamer that wants Linux and Wine/Proton to take off to be mainstream.
I can't stand how Microsoft is convincing everyone that Sony is "evil". That they need to buy more companies, until they're monopolizing (thanks european union).
Sure! Sony is crap, but at least they're delivering games not like those pieces of shit that Microsoft calls "games".
If I have to choose between keep alive 2 brands and kill 1 brand. I'd, of course, take PlayStation and Nintendo. Xbox is useless.
@Cartendole For me is kinda hard to follow long time span games.
I can only remember the first 10 hours. So to me is easier just to find short time games than long ones.
Also indie games trend to innovate even more so I prefer a 3 hours game that's enjoyable than a 40 hours game that's repetitive and probably at the end I don't even remember the entire story of it.
@alyaza That's not surprising to me. At this point I can only believe in privacy if they made their app/software open source.
@Wilshire Yep... It's official. We're in a South Park episode!!!
@kingdead This reads as a South Park episode.
IDK what's real or not anymore!!!
