  • For me, the difference between 60 and 144 Hz is big, even when not gaming, and would definitely aim 144 Hz for any non-laptop screen. However, I don't think I would notice a big enough difference between 120 and 144 or 160 in a blind test.

I would say go for any of those options you can find in your market; I treat them as basically equivalent.

  • The current racing rules are abhorrent and top 3 worst things to happen to F1 in recent years, and racing in general.

  • We don't learn much about recent events of Colombian history, but a lot of international history.

  • Tangential: Recently, I was talking with a friend of how in Colombia, schools don't teach much of recent events of Colombian history (Colombia has been in a pseudo-civil war for almost 80 years), but we learn A LOT about WWII, Vietnam war, Korean war, cold war, etc.

Given that the Goverment has done extremely nasty things in these decades, I'm somewhat convinced this is intentional.

  • It's not the lack of pitstops that is a problem, is the lack of strategic diversity. This will do little to improve that.

  • Sometimes Youtube pushes changes that break NewPipe. Usually the NewPipe devs take 1-2 days to sort these changes out

  • Did they give you your account back?

My underestanding is that they can't reverse market sales as it is a problem that quickly gets out of control. What happens if one of those items were already sold to another innocent third person? What if said person also traded them? How can they know you did not scam the person after a fair trade? etc.

  • Story time: I once saw a betting page claiming to give away free Dota 2 skins. I wanted to take a chance, but smelled the sketchyness, so I logged in with a secondary account that I used that only had a free NSFW game.

Unexpectedly, after I logged in, they inmediately changed the password and the email associated, and probably tried to steal any skin I had; since this secondary account had none, I didn't lose anything.

I contacted Steam support, told them what happened with proof that I'm the owner of the previous email. They verified the situation, and I had my account back less than 48 hours after being "scammed". All of this in an account that literally only had a free porn game.

The massive difference between and what your friend is dealing with Microshit is crazy.

  • I agree with you. Not as useful as tech-bros claim, but not as little as other people claim neither. Definitely not a trillion value thing, tho.

  • Esports was never sustainable

I feel like Dota 2's The International goes against your claim. It was the esports tournament with highest prize pool several years in a row, and it was funded almost exclusively by Dota 2 players buying The Battle pass. Valve removed battle pass like 2 years ago, but it's still ocupies top 1 up to top 7 esports tournaments with highest prize pool: https://www.esportsearnings.com/tournaments.

  • No idea, but a search in internet could get you some answers. Google apps (no authenticator) work fine on my end. As for your work app, I highly doubt you'll have issues with it.

  • I bought an used Pixel and installed GrapheneOS in it. Highly recommended, I've had 0 issues related to it.

In my country (Colombia), phones cannot be carried-locked, so no idea in that regard.

Basically, all recent-ish Pixel are compatible, but Graphene devs recommend some bases on their support: https://grapheneos.org/faq#supported-devices and https://grapheneos.org/faq#recommended-devices.

Pixels are rather expensive, although not prohibitely. GrapheneOS's team is making a deal to bring the OS to another manufacturer, however, no idea how long it will take to 1) seal the deal, and 2) have a usable and stable GrapheneOS in it.

I've run SNES and GBA emulators on mine just fine.

The only kind of app I've known to cause troubles with GrapheneOS are banking ones. Mine work perfectly, but there is a crowdfounded status repository.

Overall, I think the consensus is that GrapheneOS is the golden standard in smartphone security+privacy (excluding Linux Phones, but they are not ready for average modern use). If you want to buy a new phone, go for Pixel with Graphene. There also exists LineageOS, Calyx, e/OS, which are not as good, but are way better than stock Android from Samsung, and have a waaaay bigger list of compatible phones, so maybe your current one will work.

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Thanks!

  • Some Neon White dialogues have me laugh, but there was one level that baited me so badly, I couldn't stop laughing. Incredibly recommended game, although I'll never forgive the devs for not adding a map editor.

  • Thanks for the response. I have a question

    Given the tight budget

I can increase the budget, but I though that $200USD would be enough to get me starter, given that the 200 don't include the drives. If I were to increase it, what would you recommend?

  • Thanks!

  • It's a meme.
