  • I've done some of that stuff in Python, and n8n is just lovely, far simpler. You can also add a node that runs Python code in n8n, so you only gain simplicity, but lose almost nothing.

  • My current workmate unironically calls his variables as "cat1", "cat2", etc.

    He also didn't knew about git, so before I arrived, he uploaded the code to production with scp.

    Finally, my boss told me that he is priority, so if he doesn't underestand git, we won't keep using it. I would underestand if this was about a different language, but it's git vs scp we're talking about.

  • Colombian here. Some people start in November, some in December, some never take theirs out after December. Goverment decorations usually are December.

    However, over the years the ammount of people doing external decorations has decreased inmesenly, from maybe 75% to 25%.

  • For advanced stuff, you have Geant4. Fully open source software developed by the CERN and collaborators. It has a steep learning curve, but the feeling of simulating advanced physics (and somewhat underestading them) is amazing.

  • I'm from Colombia (all Latam countries share a lot of culture and daily life style) and images like this are somewhat common. Here this thieve would be set free in 48 hours at max, so people take justice all by themselves, as the judicial system won't do shit.
