  • haha yeah I understand, I just don't engage with lemmy much more than reading the main feed and making the occasional comment or post.

    And while I dont have a strong opinion on whether downvotes should be allowed or not, I do think that if they are allowed then they should be allowed equally on every federated instance. Otherwise the instances that dont allow them will get an undeserved boost in visibility. I've dealt the same issue by threelonmusketeers and a now defunct conservative instance. It's unhealthy when admins or mods put their thumb on the scales like that.
